Abstract

Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK) memiliki peran penting dalam meningkatkan kualitas
SDM, dengan kurikulum yang mengarah pada persiapan peserta didik untuk bekerja. Salah
satu faktor keberhasilan suatu pembelajaran yaitu model pembelajaran yang digunakan
pada proses pembelajaran. Namun, terdapat permasalahan dalam pemahaman materi yang
berdampak pada hasil belajar peserta didik. Berdasarkan hasil pengamatan, ditemukan
bahwa beberapa peserta didik menghadapi kesulitan dalam memahami materi, yang
dipengaruhi oleh proses pembelajaran yang membuat peserta didik merasa jenuh dan
peserta didik segan untuk bertanya kepada guru. Model pembelajaran kooperatif STAD
merupakan model pembelajaran secara berkelompok yang menekankan adanya interaksi
antar peserta didik. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini untuk mengetahui penerapan model
pembelajaran Kooperatif STAD, untuk mengetahui hasil belajar, dan mengetahui penerapan
model pembelajaran Kooperatif STAD pada mata Pelajaran Konstruksi Bangunan Gedung
kelas XII KGSP di SMK Negeri 5 Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan model Pre�Experimental dengan desain penelitian berupa One Group Pretest-Posttest Design. Adapun
instrumen penelitian ini berupa perangkat pembelajaran, observasi, dokumentasi, dan tes
dengan teknik analisis menggunakan uji Hipotesis dan Uji N-nelitian menunjukkan bahwa
penerapan Model Pembelajaran Kooperatif STAD pada mata pelajaran Konstruksi
Bangunan Gedung terlaksana dengan kategori baik sekali sebesar 3,83 atau 95,5%
terlaksana. Pada hasil belajar meningkat berkategori sedang dengan nilai N-Gain sebesar
0,68. Dari pretest sebesar 58,17% menjadi 86,47% pada posttest mata pelajaran Konstruksi
Bangunan Gedung. Dengan hasil uji hipotesis menunjukan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha
diterima Sehingga, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif
STAD dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik secara signifikan Pada mata Pelajaran
Konstruksi Bangunan Gedung di SMK Negeri 5 Bandung.

Vocational High Schools (SMK) play a significant role in enhancing the quality of Human
Resources (HR), with a curriculum that focuses on preparing students for work. One of the
factors influencing successful learning is the teaching model used during the learning
process. However, issues exist in terms of students' understanding of the material,
impacting their learning outcomes. Based on observations, it was found that several
students encounter difficulties in grasping the material, influenced by the teaching methods
that lead to student disengagement and reluctance to ask questions to the teacher. The
Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) cooperative learning model is a group-based
approach that emphasizes interaction among students. The objective of this study is to
explore the implementation of the Cooperative Student Teams Achievement Division
(STAD) learning model, to determine the learning outcomes, and to evaluate the
implementation of the Cooperative Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) learning
model in the subject of Building Construction in the 12th-grade Sanitation and
Maintenance Building Construction (KGSP) class at SMK Negeri 5 Bandung. This
research employs a Pre-Experimental approach with a One Group Pretest-Posttest Design.
The research instruments include teaching materials, observations, documentation, and
tests, and the analysis technique involves Hypothesis Testing and N-Gain Testing. The
results of the research demonstrate that the application of the Cooperative STAD Learning
Model in the subject of Building Construction is effectively implemented, with an excellent
category rating of 3.83 or 95.5% achieved. The learning outcomes show moderate
improvement with an N-Gain value of 0.68. The pretest score of 58.17% increased to
86.47% in the posttest for the subject of Building Construction. The hypothesis testing
results indicate the rejection of the null hypothesis (H0) and the acceptance of the
alternative hypothesis (Ha). In conclusion, the implementation of the Cooperative Student
Teams Achievement Division learning model significantly enhances student learning
outcomes in the subject of Building Construction at SMK Negeri 5 Bandung.
