Abstract

Media pembelajaran merupakan salah satu alat bantu yang digunakan dalam proses belajar mengajar. Media pembelajaran mampu membuat suatu pembelajaran yang awalnya cenderung monoton berubah menjadi lebih menarik tergantung dengan media yang dipakai untuk menyampaikan materi. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini secara umum yaitu untuk mengembangkan media video eksplainer animasi, sedangkan secara khusus yaitu 1) untuk mendeskripsikan analisis kebutuhan yang diperlukan dalam pengembangan media video eksplainer animasi, 2) Mendeskripsikan desain atau rancangan dari pengembangan media video eksplainer animasi, 3) Mendeskripsikan prosedur pengembangan dari media video eksplainer animasi mata pelajaran PPKn untuk kelas 7, 4) mengetahui mengenai implementasi dari media video eksplainer animasi yang dikembangkan, dan 5) mengetahui pendapat dari validator dan pengguna mengenai produk yang dikembangkan. Penelitian ini dilakukan didasari atas beberapa kajian literasi mengenai kefektifan media video eksplainer jenis animasi dalam pembelajaran. Atas dasar tersebut peneliti ingin membuat video eksplainer animasi pada mata pelajaran PPKn . Metode yang digunakan oleh peneliti yaitu metode Design and Development (D&D) dengan menggunakan model pengembangan ADDIE. Pendekatan pada metode D&D yaitu menggunakan mixed methods research karena relevan dengan penelitian desain dan pengembangan yang membutuhkan data kuantitatif dan kualitatif. Pengembangan media video eksplainer animasi mendapat respon atau penilaian yang positif dari para ahli dan pengguna. Hasil akhir dari pengembangan media video eksplainer animasi memiliki hasil layak untuk digunakan. Learning media is one of the tools used in the teaching and learning process. Learning media is able to make learning which initially tends to be monotonous change to be more interesting depending on the media used to convey the material. The purpose of this research in general is to develop animated explainer video media, while specifically, namely 1) to describe the needs analysis required in the development of animated explainer video media, 2) to describe the design or design of the development of animated explainer video media, 3) to describe procedures development of the animated explanatory video media for Civics subjects for grade 7, 4) find out about the implementation of the developed animated explainer video media, and 5) find out the opinions of the validators and users about the product being developed. This research was conducted based on several literacy studies regarding the effectiveness of explanatory video media of the animated type in learning. On this basis the researcher wants to make an animated explanatory video on Civics subjects. The method used by researchers is the Design and Development (D&D) method using the ADDIE development model. The approach to the D&D method is using mixed methods research because it is relevant to design and development research that requires quantitative and qualitative data. The development of animated explainer video media received positive responses or ratings from experts and users. The end result of the development of animated explanatory video media has results that are feasible to use.
