Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis penerapan pembelajaran STEM Quartet terhadap profil keterampilan berpikir analitis siswa jenjang SMP dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran PjBL pada materi energi alternatif. Metode penelitian ini adalah mixed methods dengan desain pre-experimental. Pengumpulan data diperoleh dari hasil analisis mikro terhadap transkrip pembelajaran sebagai data kualitatif dan didukung oleh asesmen LKPD kelompok sebagai data kuantitatif. Sampel penelitian sebanyak satu kelas dengan jumlah 22 siswa kelas VII di salah satu SMP berbasis Islam di Kota Cimahi. Hasil analisis transkrip berupa jumlah STEP yang sesuai dengan aspek keterampilan berpikir analitis serta disajikan dalam bentuk grafik dan dihitung persentasenya sehingga terlihat profil selama empat pertemuan, sedangkan asesmen LKPD dianalisis dengan cara menghitung skor total setiap kelompok untuk selanjutnya menentukan kategorinya. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa keterampilan berpikir analitis siswa mengalami peningkatan dilihat persentase aspek keterampilan berpikir analitis yang meningkat selama empat pertemuan. Selain itu grafik jumlah kemunculan aspek keterampilan berpikir analitis juga cenderung meningkat. Hasil tersebut juga didukung oleh hasil asesmen LKPD, dimana skor setiap kelompok menunjukkan kategori baik dan baik sekali. Dari hasil tersebut dapat disimpulkan bajwa keterampilan berpikir analitis siswa mengalami peningkatan setelah diterapkannya pembelajaran STEM Quartet. This study aims to analyze the application of STEM Quartet learning to improving the analytical thinking skills of junior high school students by using the PjBL learning model on alternative energy material. This research method is mixed methods with pre-experimental design. Data collection was obtained from the results of micro analysis of learning transcripts as qualitative data and supported by group worksheet assessments as quantitative data. The research sample was one class with a total of 22 grade VII students in one of the Islamic-based junior high schools in Cimahi City. The results of the transcript analysis were the number of STEPs that corresponded to aspects of analytical thinking skills and were presented in graphical form and the percentages were calculated so that an increase was seen during the four meetings, while the LKPD assessment was analyzed by calculating the total score for each group to then determine the category. Based on the results of the study, it was found that students' analytical thinking skills experienced an increase in the percentage of aspects of analytical thinking skills that increased during the four meetings. Besides that, the graph of the number of occurrences of aspects of analytical thinking skills also tends to increase. These results are also supported by the results of the LKPD assessment, where the scores for each group show good and very good categories. From these results it can be concluded that students' analytical thinking skills have increased after the implementation of STEM Quartet learning.
