Abstract

ABSTRAK Kristin, M. (2023). Penggunaan Media Podcast Un Petit Caoua Dengan Teknik Learning And Making Note Dalam Pembelajaran Menyimak Bahasa Perancis Tingkat A1 CECRL. (Skripsi). Bandung: Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui 1) langkah-langkah penggunaan media podcast un petit caoua dengan teknik learning and making note pada pembelajaran menyimak bahasa Perancis tingkat A1; 2) kemampuan menyimak bahasa Perancis mahasiswa sebelum dan sesudah menggunakan media podcast un petit caoua dengan teknik learning and making note; dan 3) pendapat mahasiswa tentang penggunaan media podcast un petit caoua dengan teknik learning and making note dalam pembelajaran menyimak bahasa Perancis tingkat A1. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pre-exprimental dengan pendekatan kuantitatif dan desain penelitian one group pretest-posttest. Dalam penelitian ini, peneliti mengikutsertakan 32 mahasiswa semester 2 kelas A Program Studi Pendidikan Bahasa Perancis FPBS UPI Tahun Akademik 2022/2023 sebagai sampel penelitian. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan kemampuan menyimak bahasa Perancis mahasiswa semester 2 kelas A sebelum dan sesudah diberikan treatment dengan menggunakan media podcast un petit caoua dan teknik learning and making note. Hal ini dibuktikan dengan hasil nilai rata-rata pretest sebesar 38,62 dan nilai rata-rata posttest sebesar 49,75 yang menunjukkan adanya selisih nilai rata-rata sebesar 11,13. Berdasarkan hasil perhitungan statistik, dapat diketahui nilai t-hitung sebesar 4,814 dan hasil nilai t-tabel sebesar 2,0395 dengan taraf signifikasi 5% (0.05) dan derajat kebebasan 31, nilai t-hitung lebih besar dari nilai t-tabel. Kemudian, hasil analisis kuesioner seluruh responden (100%) menyatakan media podcast un petit caoua dapat membantu meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak, setengah responden (69%) menyatakan penggunaan teknik learning and making note dalam pembelajaran menyimak bahasa Perancis memudahkan mereka dalam kegiatan menyimak. This research aims to find out 1) the steps of using un petit caoua podcast media with learning and making note techniques in learning French listening at A1 level; 2) French listening skills of students before and after using un petit caoua podcast media with learning and making note techniques; and 3) students' opinions about the use of un petit caoua podcast media with learning and making note techniques in learning French listening at A1 level. This research uses pre-experimental method with quantitative approach and one group pretest-posttest research design. In this study, researchers included 32 2nd semester students of class A of the French Language Education Study Programme FPBS UPI Academic Year 2022/2023 as research samples. The results of data analysis showed that there was an improvement in the French listening ability of semester 2 class A students before and after being given treatment using the un petit caoua podcast media and learning and making note techniques. This is evidenced by the results of the pretest average value of 38.62 and the posttest average value of 49.75 which shows a difference in average value of 11.13. Based on the results of statistical calculations, it can be seen that the t-score value is 4.814 and the t-table value is 2.0395 with a significance level of 5% (0.05) and 31 degrees of freedom, the t-score value is greater than the t-table value. Then, the results of the questionnaire analysis of all respondents (100%) stated that the un petit caoua podcast media could help improve listening skills, half of the respondents (69%) stated that the use of learning and making note techniques in learning to listen to French made it easier for them in listening activities.
