Abstract

Salah satu cara untuk mengungkapkan nilai lokalitas budaya suatu daerah dapat melalui karya sastra, terutama melalui cerpen yang menggambarkan keunikan budayanya. Penelitian ini dilakukan karena minimnya materi ajar cerpen di SMA. Tujuan dari penelitian ini yaitu 1) untuk menggambarkan struktur cerita dengan menggunakan pendekatan struktural Todorov. 2) untuk menggambarkan nilai-nilai lokal budaya dalam cerita dengan menggunakan teori Shill. 3) untuk merancang bahan ajar berupa buku pengayaan satu bab. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kualitatif deskriptif. Berdasarkan hasil analisis ditemukan nilai lokalitas budaya pada kelima cerpen tersebut terdapat kesamaan berupa tradisi yang terjadi di Madura. Adapun lokalitas budaya yang terdapat dalam cerpen Celurit Warisan berupa tradisi Kelebun. Pada cerpen Makam terdapat tradisi ziarah makam dan makam Bhuju’. Pada cerpen Kembang Pengantin terdapat tradisi menggunakan roncean bunga melati bekas pengantin untuk mendatangkan jodoh. Pada cerpen Topeng Gulur terdapat tradisi berupa tarian memanggil hujan. Pada cerpen Kidung Sandur terdapat tradisi nyanyian tradisional berupa kidung. One way to express the local values of a region can be through literary works, especially through short stories that describe the uniqueness of its culture. This research was conducted because of the lack of short story teaching materials in high school. The purpose of this study is 1) to describe the structure of the story using Todorov's structural approach. 2) to describe the local values of culture in the story using Shill's theory. 3) to design teaching materials in the form of one-chapter enrichment books. The method used in this study is descriptive qualitative. Based on the results of the analysis, it was found that the value of cultural locality in the five short stories there are similarities in the form of traditions that occur in Madura. The tradition contained in the short story Celurit Warisan is in the form of the Kalebun tradition. In the short story Makam there is a tradition of grave pilgrimage and Bhuju's tomb. In the short story Kembang Pengantin there is a tradition of using the bride's jasmine flower bell to bring a soul mate. In the short story Topeng Gulur there is a tradition in the form of a dance calling rain. In the short story Kidung Sandur there is a tradition of traditional singing in the form of songs.
