Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh masih kurangnya penerapan karakter disiplin siswa di sekolah. Salah satu penerapan yang dapat digunakan oleh guru adalah membuat program sekolah yang bertujuan untuk mendisiplinkan siswa-siswinya Adapun tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil penerapan karakter disiplin siswa di kelas II Sekolah Dasar, siswa mengetahui bentuk-bentuk kegiatan disiplin agar siswa mampu menerapkan kedisiplinan yang berlaku di sekolah dan terbiasa melakukannya di dalam kehidupan sehari-hari. Serta peneliti ingin menganalisis apa saja faktor penghambat penerapan karakter disiplin siswa Sekolah Dasar Negeri Kalibaru 07 Pagi. Karena, berdasarkan fenomena yang terjadi masih banyak siswa yang kurang disiplin saat berada di sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif deskripsif, subjek yang dipilih untuk penelitia ini yaitu satu orang guru dan 28 orang siswa kelas II SD Negeri Kalibaru 07 Pagi. Teknik pengumpulan data penelitian ini yaitu menggunakan teknik observasi, wawancara, dokumentasi, dan tes LKPD. Adapun hasil yang diperoleh peneliti yaitu siswa mampu menerapkan nilai karakter disiplin di sekolah dengan baik seperti memakai seragam sesuai jadwal dan mengenakan atribut lengkap, menghormati guru, mengikuti upacara dengan tertib, berdoa sebelum dan sesudah belajar, menyanyikan lagu wajib nasional, membuang sampah pada tempatnya, bekerja kelompok dengan tertib, mendengarkan orang lain berbicara, membawa bekal ke sekolah, dan solat dhuha berjamaah. Serta adapun faktor penghambat dari penerapan karakter disiplin siswa di SDN Kalibaru 07 Pagi yaitu masih ada siswa yang mengulangi kesalahan, karakter dan mood siswa yang beragam, siswa yang memerlukan perhatian khusus, sarana dan prasarana masih terbatas, dan kyrangnya kesadaran orang tua siswa. This research is motivated by the lack of application of the character of student discipline in schools. One application that can be used by teachers is to create a school program that aims to discipline their students. The purpose of this research is to find out the results of the application of the character of student discipline in grade II elementary schools, students know the forms of disciplinary activities so that students are able to apply discipline that apply in school and are used to doing it in everyday life. And the researcher wants to analyze what are the inhibiting factors in the application of the disciplinary character of Kalibaru 07 Pagi Public Elementary School students. Because, based on the phenomena that occur there are still many students who lack discipline while at school. This study used a descriptive qualitative method, the subjects chosen for this research were one teacher and 28 second grade students at SD Negeri Kalibaru 07 Pagi. The technique of collecting data for this research is using observation techniques, interviews, documentation, and LKPD tests. The results obtained by researchers are that students are able to properly apply the character values of discipline at school such as wearing uniforms according to schedule and wearing full attributes, respecting teachers, attending ceremonies in an orderly manner, praying before and after studying, singing the national mandatory anthem, disposing of trash in its place, work in groups in an orderly manner, listen to other people talk, bring supplies to school, and pray dhuha in congregation. As well as the inhibiting factors from the application of student discipline character at Kalibaru 07 Pagi Elementary School, namely there are still students who repeat mistakes, the characters and moods of students vary, students who need special attention, facilities and infrastructure are still limited, and lack of awareness of parents.
