Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kemampuan, kesalahan, faktor penyebab kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis berdasarkan kerangka PISA ditinjau dari self-efficacy serta solusi untuk menanggulangi kesalahan siswa. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Penelitian dilakukan pada salah satu SMA di Banjarmasin, Kalimantan Selatan dengan jumlah partisipan 74 siswa. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan instrumen tes berupa soal literasi matematis dan instrumen non-tes berupa angket self-efficacy dan wawancara. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa self-efficacy siswa untuk setiap dimensinya berkategori sedang. Sebagian besar siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis level 1 dan 2, hampir setengah siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis level 3, dan sebagian kecil siswa mampu menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis level 4. Kesalahan pada tahap formulate siswa tidak menuliskan informasi yang diketahui dan ditanyakan pada soal, tidak lengkap dalam merumuskan masalah ke dalam kalimat matematis. Tahap employ siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam langkah penyelesaian seperti kesalahan perhitungan dan kesalahan dalam operasi aljabar. Tahap interpret siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam merumuskan solusi menjadi kesimpulan. Kemampuan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis berdasarkan kerangka PISA dengan self-efficacy tinggi dimensi magnitude dan strength memenuhi indikator literasi matematis pada level 1 sampai 4, dimensi generality memenuhi indikator literasi matematis level 1 sampai 3. Siswa dengan self-efficacy sedang untuk setiap dimensinya memenuhi seluruh indikator pada level 1 sampai 3. Siswa dengan self-efficacy rendah untuk setiap dimensinya memenuhi indikator formulate pada level 1 sampai 3. Kesalahan yang dilakukan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis berdasarkan kerangka PISA yaitu kesalahan dalam tahap merumuskan masalah menjadi kalimat matematis, kesalahan dalam langkah penyelesaian, dan kesalahan menafsirkan hasil. Faktor penyebab siswa melakukan kesalahan dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi berdasarkan kerangka PISA yaitu lupa, kebiasaan, tidak teliti, tidak memahami konsep, kurangnya kemampuan pada materi prasyarat, dan tidak terbiasa dengan soal non-rutin. Solusi yang ditawarkan untuk meminimalisir kesalahan siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal literasi matematis berdasarkan kerangka PISA adalah meningkatkan dalam memperhatikan kebiasaan penulisan siswa, memastikan materi prasyarat telah dikuasai siswa, penyajian materi secara bertahap dari konsep yang paling dasar hingga yang paling kompleks, serta penyajian soal literasi matematis dan soal non-rutin. This study aims to describe abilities, errors, and factors that cause student errors in solving mathematical literacy questions based on the PISA framework in terms of self-efficacy and solutions to overcome student errors. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design. The research was conducted at a high school in Banjarmasin, South Kalimantan, with 74 students participating. Data collection techniques in this study used test instruments in the form of mathematical literacy questions and non-test instruments in the form of self-efficacy questionnaires and interviews. Based on the research results, it was found that students' self-efficacy for each dimension was in the medium category. Most of the students were able to complete level 1 and 2 mathematical literacy questions, almost half of the students could complete level 3 mathematical literacy questions, and a small number of students could complete level 4 mathematical literacy questions. Errors at the formulate stage students did not write down the information they knew and were asked about the questions, and they needed to be completed in formulating problems into mathematical sentences. In the employ stage, students make mistakes in solving steps, such as calculation errors and errors in algebraic operations. In the interpreting stage, students make mistakes in formulating solutions into conclusions. The ability of students to solve mathematical literacy questions based on the PISA framework with high self-efficacy dimensions of magnitude and strength meets the indicators of mathematical literacy at levels 1 to 4. The generality dimension meets the indicators of mathematical literacy levels 1 to 3. Students with moderate self-efficacy for each dimension fulfil all indicators at levels 1 to 3. Students with low self-efficacy for each dimension fulfil the formula indicators at levels 1 to 3. Errors made by students in solving mathematical literacy questions based on the PISA framework, namely errors in the stage of formulating problems into mathematical sentences, errors in completion steps, and errors in interpreting results. Factors that cause students to make mistakes in solving literacy questions based on the PISA framework are forgetfulness, habit, needing to be careful, not understanding concepts, lack of ability in prerequisite material, and not being used to non-routine questions. The solutions offered to minimize student errors in solving mathematical literacy questions based on the PISA framework are increasing attention to students' writing habits, ensuring that students have mastered the prerequisite material, presenting material in stages from the most basic to the most complex concepts, as well as giving mathematical literacy questions and non-routine questions.
