Abstract
Penelitian ini didasarkan bahwa pendidikan karakter kemandirian pada anak usia dini sangat penting dan dalam proses pembelajarannya harus mampu memanfaatkan media pembelajaran yang menarik. Tujuannya yakni dalam upaya meningkatkan efisiensi dan efektivitas pembelajaran sehingga dapat memberikan pembelajaran yang menyenangkan dan memberi motivasi kepada peserta didik. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan dan mengembangkan suatu produk yaitu busy book practical life yang layak digunakan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu metode D&D (Design and Development) dengan menggunakan prosedur penelitian ADDIE yang mencakup lima tahap yaitu analisis, desain, pengembangan, implementasi, dan evaluasi. Proses validasi melibatkan para ahli di bidangnya, yaitu ahli materi, dan ahli media. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa hasil penilaian produk oleh materi mendapatkan nilai 75% dengan katergori “Layak”, dan hasil penilaian produk oleh ahli media mendapatkan niali 92,22% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak”. Pada uji coba produk yang dilakukan di TK kelas KB yang berada di daerah Kota Bandung memperoleh penilaian guru 100% dengan kategori “Sangat Layak” dan memperoleh respons peserta didik, yaitu 78% dengan kategori “Layak”. Maka dari itu, meda busy book practical life yang dikembangkan ini sangat layak digunakan oleh pengajar dan murid pada anak usia dini kelas KB dalam mendukung proses belajar mengajar -------------- This research is based on the premise that character education focusing on independence in young children is highly important. And in its learning process, it must be able to utilize engaging educational media. The goal is to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the learning process, thus providing enjoyable learning and motivating the learners.. Based on these considerations, the aim of this research is to describe and develop a product called the "busy book practical life" that is suitable for use. The research method used is the Design and Development (D&D) method, employing the ADDIE research procedure, which includes five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The validation process involved experts in the field, including content experts and media experts. The research results show that the product assessment by content experts obtained a score of 75% with the category "Suitable," while the product assessment by media experts obtained a score of 92.22% with the category "Highly Suitable." In the product trial conducted at the Kindergarten (KB) class of TK located in the city of Bandung, the teacher's assessment was 100% with the category "Highly Suitable." The student participants' feedback was 78% with the category "Suitable." Therefore, the developed busy book practical life media is highly suitable for use by teachers and students in early childhood education (KB class) to support the teaching and learning process.
