Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Problem Based Learning learning model on Front Office learning motivation of class XI students of Maarif Terpadu Vocational School, Cicalengka. This study uses a class action research method (CAR). The instruments used in this study were observation sheets, interviews, field notes, and documentation. Based on the analysis and observation of the results of the study, information was obtained that the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model could increase student learning motivation. 5% and the average percentage of students' front office learning motivation is 52.5%, while in cycle II the average percentage of the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model implemented by the teacher is 65% and the average percentage of learning motivation the student front office is 73.75%, and in cycle III the average percentage of the activity of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model carried out by the teacher is 82.5% and the average percentage of students' front office learning motivation is 91.3 %. Thus, it can be concluded that the better the activity of applying the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model carried out by the teacher, the better the learning motivation of students.
