Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya keterampilan gerak tari siswa sekolah dasar karena tidak semua anak memiliki kecerdasan kinestetik yang disebabkan oleh model pembelajaran tari yang kurang sesuai di sekolah dasar. Dengan demikian, perlu adanya perbaikan dalam pembelajaran tari di sekolah dasar. Salah satu solusi untuk memperbaiki pembelajaran tersebut dengan menggunakan model Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence. Tujuan dari penelitian ini untuk mengetahui pengaruh model BodilyKinesthetic Intelligence dalam pembelajaran tari di kelas IV sekolah dasar dan untuk mengukur perbedaan peningkatan keterampilan gerak tari yang menggunakan model Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence dengan yang menggunakan model pada umumnya yaitu model hitungan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah model quasi eksperiment dengan desain penelitian non equivalent control group design. Populasi dan sampel penelitian ini adalah seluruh siswa kelas IV SDN Pinangraja 1 yakni kelas IV A berjumlah 20 siswa sebagai kelas eksperimen dan kelas IV B berjumlah 15 siswa sebagai kelas kontrol. Hasil pengolahan data menggunakan SPSS Versi 22 nilai pretest dan posttest menunjukkan adanya pengaruh penggunaan model Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence terhadap keterampilan gerak tari siswa. Peningkatan nilai rata-rata pretest dan posttest kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan model Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence sebesar 41,60 yakni lebih besar dibandingkan dengan kelas kontrol yang tidak menggunakan model Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence dengan peningkatan nilai rata-rata sebesar 28,26. Oleh karena itu, dalam penelitian ini terdapat pengaruh perbedaan peningkatan kemampuan gerak siswa terhadap pembelajaran gerak tari menggunakan model Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence dan model hitungan. ---------- This research was motivated by the lack of dance movement skills of elementary school students because not all children have kinesthetic intelligence caused by dance learning models that are not suitable in elementary schools. Thus, there needs to be improvements in dance learning in elementary schools. One solution to improve learning is to use the Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence model. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence model in dance learning in grade IV elementary school and to measure the difference in increasing dance movement ability using the Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence model with those using the model in general, namely the claculation model. The research method use is a quasi-experimental model with a non-equivalent control group design research design. The population and sample of this study were all grade IV students of SDN Pinangraja 1, namely class IV A totaling 20 students as an experimental class and class IV B totaling 15 students as a control class. The results of data processing using SPSS Version 22 pretest and posttest scores showed the influence of using the Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence model on students dance movement abilities. The increase in the average pretest and posttest scores of the experimental calss using the Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence model was 41,60, which was greater than the control class that did not use Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence model with an increase in the average value of 28,26. Therefore, in this study there is a different influence of increasing student’s movement ability on dance movement learning using the Bodily-Kinesthetic Intelligence model and the calculation model.
