Abstract

ABSTRAK PEGARUH MEDIA AUDIO VISUAL TERHADAP PENINGKATAN KETERAMPILAN MEMAKAI PEMBALUT BAGI SISWI TUNAGRAHITA DI SLBN A CITEUREUP Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah anak tunagrahita yang memiliki permasalahan dalam keterampilan merawat diri dalam menjaga kesehatan reproduksi. Subjek masih kesulitan dalam memakai pembalut ketika menstruasi. Berdasarkan permasalahan tersebut, peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian mengenaipengaruh media audio visual terhadap peningkatan keterampilan memakai pembalut bagi siswi tunagrahita di SLBN A Citeureup. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode Single Subject Research (SSR). Data dikumpulkan melalui tes kinerja. Kemudian data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan statistik deskriptif melalui grafik garis sederhana. Penelitian ini dilakukan sebanyak 13 sesi yang terbagi kedalam tiga fase, baseline-1 (A-1), intervensi, dan baseline-2 (A-2). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat peningkatan. Pada baseline-1 (A-1) subjek memperoleh mean level sebesar 55,55% kemudian pada intervensi meningkat menjadi 70,06% dan meningkat kembali menjadi 83,33% pada baseline-2 (A-2). Dengan demikian penggunaan media audio visual memberikan pengaruh yang cukup besar dalam meningkatkan keterampilan memakai pembalut bagi anak tunagrahita. Berdasarkan tingkat peningkatan keterampilan tersebut peneliti memberikan saran kepada pihak guru dan sekolah untuk menggunakan media audio visual dalam kegiatan pembelajaran keterampilan merawat diri memakai pembalut. Kata Kunci: Anak tunagrahita, keterampilan memakai pembalut, media audio visual ABSTRACT THE INFLUENCES OF AUDIO VISUAL MEDIA ON INCREASING THE SKILLS OF WEARING SANITARY SLABS FOR CHILDREN WITH INTELLECTUAL DISABILITY AT SLBN A CITEUREUP The subject in this study is children with intellectual disability who have problems in self-care skills in maintaining reproductive health. Subjects still have difficulty wearing pads during menstruation. Based on this problem, researchers are interested in conducting research on the influence of audio visual media on improving the skill of wearing pads for disabled students at SLBN A Citeureup. This research uses the Single Subject Research (SSR) method. Data is collected through performance tests. Then the data obtained is analyzed using descriptive statistics through a simple line graph. This study was conducted as many as 13 sessions which were divided into three phases, baseline-1 (A-1), intervention, and baseline-2 (A-2). The results showed an increase. In baseline-1 (A-1) subjects gained a mean level of 55.55% then in the intervention increased to 70.06% and increased back to 83.33% in baseline-2 (A-2). Thus the use of audio visual media has a considerable influence in improving the skill of wearing pads for children with disabilities. Based on the level of skill improvement, researchers advise teachers and schools to use audio-visual media in learning activities to take care of themselves using pads.
