Abstract
Pada latar belakang yang terjadi dilapangan bahwa ditemukannya permasalahan kurangnya rasa percaya diri anak usia dini pada penerapan di lingkungan belajar kelas. Hal tersebut terjadi karena kurangnya penerapan metode yang bervariasi atau pengembangan yang guru kelas berikan pada pembelajaran di kelas untuk membetuk karakter percaya diri anak usia dini, kemampuan kepercayaan diri anak usia dini perlu dibentuk sejak dini karena dengan memiliki kemampuan kepercayaan diri akan membantu anak dalam menghadapi kontak sosial atau komunikasi di lingkungan sosialnya. Latar belakang masalah yang telah dipaparkan sebelumnya adalah 1. Bagaimana tahapan penerapan metode bercerita dalam membentuk karakter percaya diri anak., 2. Bagaimana perilaku karakter percaya diri pada anak setelah mengikuti pembelajaran dengan metode bercerita., 3. Bagaimana Prototipe buku cerita yang dapat membentuk karakter percaya diri pada anak., Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan metode bercerita dapat mengembangkan dan membentuk karakter percaya diri anak setelah diterapkannya metode bercerita dan bagaimana prototipe buku cerita yang dapat membentuk karakter percaya diri pada anak. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian inj adalah PTK model Kemmis dan Mc Taggart. Dalam model ini masing masing dilakukan dengan 1 siklus 2 tindakan. Dari 2 tindakan yang dilalukan didapatkan hasil akhir dengan presentase sebesar 100% yang termasuk kategori sangat baik sekali. Metode bercerita yang diterapkan menggunakan gambar atau sebagai alat bantu bercerita yang peneliti buat dilengkapi dengan gambar dan alur cerita yang menyenangkan sesuai dengan nilai karakter percaya diri. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa Metode bercerita dalam membentuk karakter percaya diri anak Pada tahapan penerapan metode bercerita yang telah peneliti aplikasikan di pembelajaran pada tahapan ini kepercayaan diri anak usia TK dapat diamati dalam berbagai kegiatan anak di TK, baik secara individual maupun kelompok atau klasikal. ------------ On the background that occurred in the field that found problems of lack of self-confidence in early childhood implementation in the classroom learning environment. The background of the problems that have been described previously are 1. What are the stages of applying the storytelling method in shaping the child's confident character., 2. How is the behavior of the confident character in children after participating in learning with the storytelling method., 3. How are storybook prototypes that can shape character self-confidence in children. The purpose of this study was to find out how the application of storytelling methods can develop and shape children's self-confident characters after the storytelling method is applied and how storybook prototypes can shape children's self-confident characters. The research method used in this study was the CAR of the Kemmis and Mc Taggart models. In this model each is carried out with 1 cycle of 2 actions. Of the 2 actions taken, the final result was 100%, which was in the very good category. The storytelling method that is applied using pictures or as a storytelling tool that researchers make is complemented by pictures and a fun storyline in accordance with the value of the character of self-confidence. It can be concluded that the storytelling method forms the self-confident character of children. At the stage of applying the storytelling method that the researchers have applied to learning at this stage, the self-confidence of kindergarten-aged children can be observed in various children's activities in kindergarten, both individually and in groups or classically.
