Syifa Marwah, - (2023) PENERAPAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN FIELD TRIP UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN INTERPRETASI SISWA SEKOLAH MENENGAH ATAS PADA MATERI EKOSISTEM. S1 thesis, Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia.
Abstract
Pandemi Covid-19 menyebabkan terjadinya fenomena loss learning pada siswa. Salah
The Covid-19 pandemic caused the phenomenon of loss learning in students. One
strategy that has the potential to support improving the quality of learning outcomes, especially
ecosystem material and critical thinking skills which are included in 21st century skills, is using
the field trip learning method. The research carried out aims to identify the effect of
implementing ecosystem learning using the field trip method in improving students'
interpretation abilities. The method used is pre-experimental with a one-group pretest-posttest
design. The research was conducted in class X with a total of 26 students in a high school in
Bandung. Field trip research was carried out at the UPI Botanical Gardens. Interpretation
ability data was obtained from the results of the pre-test and post-test containing nine essay
questions with three questions each on the indicators of categorizing, describing significance
and clarifying meaning as well as questionnaires and interviews to find out student responses.
The results showed that field trip learning increasing interpretation abilities with an N-Gain
value of 0.52 included in the medium category. Along with this, as many as 69% of students
gave a positive response to ecosystem learning using the field trip method.
