Abstract
Menurut Undang-Undang Nomor 20 Tahun 2003, tujuan khusus pendidikan
menengah kejuruan diantaranya adalah mempersiapkan peserta didik menjadi
manusia produktif yang mampu bekerja secara mandiri dan mengisi lowongan
pekerja tingkat menengah yang ada berdasarkan kemampuan program keahlian
yang dipilihnya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesiapan kerja siswa�siswa SMK Negeri 4 Bandung program studi Teknik Instalasi Tenaga Listrik
berdasarkan aspek kognitif, psikomotorik, dan afektif. Metode penelitian yang
digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Hasil
pembahasan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa: (1) kesiapan kerja siswa-siswi
SMK Negeri 4 Bandung program studi TITL ditinjau dari aspek kognitif berada
pada kategori cukup siap; (2) kesiapan kerja siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 4 Bandung
program studi TITL ditinjau dari afektif (perilaku) siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 4
Bandung sudah menunjukkan perilaku kesiapan kerja; dan (3) dari segi
psikomotorik siswa-siswi SMK Negeri 4 Bandung berada pada kategori siap.
According to Law Number 20 of 2003, the specific objectives of vocational
secondary education include preparing students to become productive human
beings who are able to work independently and fill existing middle-level vacancies
based on the abilities of the chosen skill program. This study aims to determine the
work readiness of students of SMK Negeri 4 Bandung Electrical Power Installation
Engineering study program based on cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects.
The research method used in this research is quantitative descriptive method. The
results of the discussion of this study indicate that: (1) the work readiness of
students of SMK Negeri 4 Bandung TITL study program in terms of cognitive
aspects is in the moderately ready category; (2) the work readiness of students of
SMK Negeri 4 Bandung TITL study program in terms of affective (behavior)
students of SMK Negeri 4 Bandung have shown work readiness behavior; and (3)
in terms of psychomotor students of SMK Negeri 4 Bandung are in the ready
category.
