Abstract

Fenomena game online menjadi masalah serius di beberapa tahun terakhir, intensitas yang tinggi dalam bermain game online berdampak negatif pada kondisi fisik, mental, kesehatan dan perkembangan remaja. Detoks game online menjadi salah satu solusi dari permasalahan kecanduan game online pada remaja. Media edukasi ditujukan agar remaja sadar akan bahayanya game online, sehingga diharapkan dapat mau mengurangi intensitas bermain game. Motion Graphic merupakan media edukasi yang efektif untuk menyampaikan informasi menjadi lebih menarik. Oleh sebab itu motion graphic dipilih sebagai media edukasi detoks game online bagi remaja. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui rancangan motion graphic sebagai media edukasi detoks game online bagi remaja dan mengetahui hasil uji coba terhadap video “DetoksGo” berbasis motion graphic sebagai media edukasi detoks game online bagi remaja. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian Design and Development (D&D) model N.J. Manson yang dimulai dengan kepekaan terhadap masalah (awareness of problem), pemberian saran (suggestion), pengembangan produk (development), pelaksaan evaluasi (evaluation), dan menentukan kesimpulan (conclusion). Setelah perancangan produk, dilakukan validasi kepada ahli media, materi dan angket respon remaja kepada 30 remaja untuk melihat kelayakan dari motion graphic yang telah dirancang. Perolehan skor dari validasi materi adalah 80%, validasi media 96,3% dan uji respon remaja 93,3%. Kesimpulan dari video motion graphic yang dirancang sangat baik dan sangat layak untuk dijadikan media edukasi detoks game online bagi remaja. ---------- The phenomenon of online gaming has become a serious problem in recent years, the high intensity of playing online games has a negative impact on the physical, mental, health and developmental conditions of adolescents. Online game detox is one of the solutions to the problem of online game addiction in adolescents. Educational media is intended to make teenagers aware of the dangers of online games, so that they are expected to want to reduce the intensity of playing games. Motion Graphic is an effective educational media to convey information to be more interesting. Therefore, motion graphic were chosen as an educational media for online game detox for teenagers. The purpose of this study is to determine the design of motion graphic as an educational media for online game detox for teenagers and to determine the results of the trial of the motion graphic-based "DetoksGo" video as an educational media for online game detox for teenagers. This study uses the Design and Development (D&D) research method of the N.J. Manson model which begins with awareness of the problem, suggestion, product development, evaluation, and conclusion. After designing the product, validation was carried out to media experts, materials and youth response questionnaires to 30 teenagers to see the feasibility of the motion graphic that had been designed. The score of material validation was 80%, media validation 96.3% and youth response test 93.3%. The conclusion of the motion graphic video designed is very good and very feasible to be used as educational media for online game detox for teenagers.
