Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya aktivitas belajar siswa. Selaain itu, penggunaan media pembelajaran pada proses pembelajaran bagian tubuh tumbuhan di sekolah dasar yang dominan pada gaya belajar siswa kelas 4 sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyelesaikan permasalahan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan mengembangkan media multisensory board. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan menerapkan metode penelitian Design & Development (D&D) yang mengacu pada model PPE. Model PPE terdiri dari tiga tahap pengembangan, yaitu Planning, Production, dan Evaluation. Kualitas produk divalidasi oleh ahli media, ahli materi, dan ahli pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penilaian kualitas media multisensory board oleh ahli media adalah 97,5%, penliaian dari ahli materi adalah 94,2%, dan penilaian dari ahli pembelajaran adalah 97,1%. Kemudian hasil peningkatan aktivitas belajar siswa dibuktikan dengan rata-rata nilai hasil pretest sebesar 65, posttest sebesar 93. Kemudian dari hasil pretest & posttest dilakukan uji n-gain dengan rata-rata sebesar 0,76. Peneliti juga melakukan uji respon siswa yaitu dengan rata-rata sebesar 96%. Simpulan penilaian produk “Media Multisensory Board pada Materi Bagian Tubuh Tumbuhan di Sekolah Dasar” secara keseluruhan adalah “sangat layak” sebagai sarana pembelajaran dan mampu meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dengan memfasilitasi keseluruhan modalitas belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran IPAS dalam materi bagian tubuh-tumbuhan. This research is motivated by the lack of student learning activity. In addition, the use of instructional media in the learning process of plant body parts in primary schools is dominant in the learning styles of grade 4 elementary school students. This study aims to solve the problem of student learning activities by developing a multisensory board media. This research is a development research by applying the Design & Development (D&D) research method which refers to the PPE model. The PPE model consists of three stages of development, namely Planning, Production, and Evaluation. Product quality is validated by media experts, material experts, and learning experts. The results showed that the assessment of the quality of the multisensory board media by media experts was 97.5%, the assessment by material experts was 94.2%, and the assessment by learning experts was 97.1%. Then the results of increased student learning activity are evidenced by the average pretest result of 65, posttest of 93. Then from the pretest & posttest results, the n-gain test is carried out with an average of 0.76. Researchers also conducted student response tests with an average of 96%. The overall conclusion of the product assessment "Media Multisensory Board on Plant Body Parts Material in Elementary Schools" is "very feasible" as a learning tool and is able to increase student learning activities by facilitating all modalities of student learning in the Natural Science subject in plant body material.
