Abstract

Sekolah menengah kejuruan merupakan lembaga pendidikan yang memiliki fokus untuk mempersiapkan peserta didiknya memiliki keterampilan untuk menangani suatu pekerjaan tertentu, sehingga menghasilkan lulusan peserta didik yang siap untuk bekerja. Namun hal tersebut tidaklah cukup untuk menghadapi berbagai perkembangan teknologi yang terjadi di abad 21 ini. Berbagai keterampilan yang diperlukan di abad 21 ini terdiri dari keterampilan belajar dan berinovasi, teknologi informasi dan komunikasi, serta keterampilan hidup dan karir. Keterampilan-keterampilan tersebut tidak hanya mencakup hard skills saja, tapi juga soft skills. Pembentukan soft skills menjadi permasalahan yang sering ditemukan di sekolah menengah kejuruan, karena fokus lulusannya yaitu siap bekerja. Untuk itu perlu dilakukannya pembentukan keterampilan abad 21, agar peserta didik siap menjadi warga negera yang mampu bersaing secara global. Melalui pembelajaran guru melakukan inovasi dengan mengkolaborasikan pembelajaran secara konvensional dengan berbasis teknologi yaitu pembelajaran campuran. Pembelajaran tersebut bertujuan agar mampu membentuk keterampilan abad 21 pada diri peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan kegiatan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan triangulasi data. Penelitian ini dilakukan di SMK Teknologi Mandiri Garut dengan subjek penelitian yaitu peserta didik kelas XII TITL dan Guru PPKn. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan dan pembentukan keterampilan abad 21 pada diri peserta didik pada aspek keterampilan berpikir kritis, berkolaborasi dan berkomunikasi, TIK, serta kemampuan beradaptasi, inisiatif dan keterampilan sosial. Kata kunci: Blended Learning, Keterampilan abad 21, PPKn Vocational high school is an educational institution that has a focus on preparing students to have the skills to handle a particular job, so as to produce graduates who are ready to work. However, this is not enough to deal with various technological developments that occur in the 21st century. Various skills needed in the 21st century consist of learning and innovation skills, information and communication technology, as well as life and career skills. These skills include not only hard skills, but also soft skills. Formation of soft skills is a problem that is often found in vocational high schools, because the focus of graduates is that they are ready to work. For this reason, it is necessary to form 21st century skills, so that students are ready to become citizens who are able to compete globally. Through learning the teacher innovates by collaborating conventional learning with technology-based learning, namely mixed learning. The learning aims to be able to form 21st century skills in students. The method used in this research is a descriptive study with a qualitative approach. Data collection was carried out using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis techniques using data triangulation. This research was conducted at Mandiri Technology Vocational School in Garut with research subjects namely class XII TITL students and Civics teachers. The results of the study show that there is an increase and formation of 21st century skills in students in the aspects of critical thinking skills, collaboration and communication, ICT, as well as adaptability, initiative and social skills.
