Abstract
Kurangnya kesadaran orang tua dan guru yang belum mengenalkan ragam profesi terkini serta belum banyak media edukasi mengenai pengenalan profesi yang berkembang saat ini. Profesi semakin beragam seiring berkembangnya teknologi dan pengetahuan, perkembangan teknologi menciptakan peluang pada kebutuhan profesi baru. Pengetahuan tentang profesi bidang teknologi menjadi dasar dalam pengambilan keputusan peneliti untuk menangani masalah tersebut dengan membuat media edukasi berupa video animasi yang dapat dimanfaatkan untuk menyajikan informasi yang menarik dan disukai anak. Tujuan penelitian ini yakni mengembangkan variasi media dari penelitian sebelumnya serta mendapatkan hasil uji coba media nya. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah D&D (Design and Development) dengan desain penelitian N.J. Manson yang terdiri dari 5 tahapan yaitu kesadaran terhadap masalah, saran, pengembangan, evaluasi, dan kesimpulan. Populasi dan sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Dungusiku I yang berjumlah 23 siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa media edukasi berupa video animasi serta telah melalui tahap validasi ahli dan uji coba respon siswa dengan skor aspek media mendapatkan 86%, aspek materi mendapatkan 93,63%, dan menghasilkan respon positif dengan hasil uji coba respon siswa mendapatkan 88,96%. Kesimpulan yang diperoleh adalah media video animasi sudah layak digunakan dan berhasil mengedukasi pengenalan profesi bidang teknologi pada siswa kelas IV Sekolah Dasar. ----- There is a lack of awareness among parents and teachers who have not introduced the latest variety of professions, and there are not many educational media about the introduction of professions that are currently developing. Professions are becoming increasingly diverse as technology and knowledge develop. Technological developments create opportunities for new professional needs. Knowledge of the profession's field of technology is the basis for researchers' decision-making to deal with this problem by creating educational media in the form of animated videos that can be used to present information that is interesting and liked by children. The purpose of this research is to develop media variations from previous research and get the results of media testing. The research method used is D&D (Design and Development) with research design by N.J. Manson, which consists of 5 stages: awareness of problems, suggestions, development, evaluation, and conclusions. The population and sample used in this study were 4th grade students of SDN Dungusiku I, totaling 23 students. The results of the research include educational media in the form of animated videos and have gone through the expert validation stage and student response testing, with media aspect scores getting 86%, material aspects getting 93.63%, and producing positive responses with the results of student response testing getting 88.96%. The conclusion obtained is that the animation video medium is feasible to use and successfully introduces professions in the field of technology to 4th grade elementary school students.
