Abstract

Prestasi belajar menjadi acuan siswa untuk berproses dalam masa belajarnya selama di sekolah. Hasil penguasaan siswa atas pencapaiannya dapat ditunjukan dengan nilai tes. Hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh faktor internal dan eksternal, diantaranya grit dan kebudayaan masyarakat. Guru sebagai fasilitator idealnya mampu mengoptimalkan kedua faktor tersebut dalam perancangan pembelajaran. Grit diyakini sebagai prediktor kesuksesan karena memiliki aspek yang dapat mngkombinasikan konsistensi minat dan kegigihan berusaha dalam jangka waktu yang panjang. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mengukur hubungan grit dengan prestasi belajar siswa fase c SD X di Kota Bandung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan jenis penelitian korelasi. Jumlah populasi pada penelitian ini sebanyak 80 siswa SD kelas V, teknik samplingnya adalah sampel jenuh. Data yang dikumpulkan diperoleh dari penyebaran instrumen penelitian berupa angket grit serta hasil studi dokumentasi berupa nilai tes siswa. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa: (1) Terdapat hubungan antara aspek konsistensi minat pada prestasi belajar siswa dengan korelasi sebesar 0,358 dan koefisien dterminasi 12,8% yang termasuk pada kategori rendah (2) Terdapat hubungan antara aspek kegigihan berusaha dengan prestasi belajar sebesar 0,367 dan koefisien determinasi 13,5% yang termasuk pada kategori rendah. (3) Dengan begitu, disimpulkan bahwa semua aspek grit berkorelasi dengan prestasi belajar. Nilai koefisiensi korelasi grit dengan prestasi belajar siswa sebesar 0,12%. Sehingga memiliki hubungan dengan kategori rendah. Kata Kunci: grit, prestasi belajar Learning achievement is a reference for students to process their learning period while at school. The results of student mastery of their achievements can be shown by test scores. This is influenced by internal and external factors, including grit and community culture. Teachers as facilitators should ideally be able to optimize these two factors in learning design. Grit is believed to be a predictor of success because it has aspects that can combine consistency of interest and persistence in trying in the long term. The purpose of this study was to measure the relationship between grit and learning achievement of phase c students of SD X in Bandung City. The method used in this research is quantitative research using the type of correlation research. The population in this study was 80 fifth grade elementary school students, the sampling technique was a saturated sample. The data collected were obtained from the distribution of research instruments in the form of grit questionnaires and the results of documentation studies in the form of student test scores. The results of this study showed that: (1) There is a relationship between aspects of interest consistency on student learning achievement with a correlation of 0.358 and a coefficient of determination of 12.8% which is included in the low category (2) There is a relationship between aspects of persistence in trying with learning achievement of 0.367 and a coefficient of determination of 13.5% which is included in the low category. (3) With that, it is concluded that all aspects of grit correlate with learning achievement. The correlation coefficient value of grit with student learning achievement is 0.12% wich means has a relationship with the low category. Keywords: grit, learning achievement
