Abstract
Carita wayang merupakan karya sastra yang perlu diteliti dengan sungguh-sungguh. Aspek-aspek sosial yang terkandung dalam carita wayang dapat diterapkan dalam kehidupan sehari-hari di masyarakat. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan struktur carita wayang “Semar Rarabi” menggunakan teori Vladimir Propp, aspek sosial carita wayang “Semar Rarabi” menggunakan teori Soekanto, serta menerapkannya ke dalam bahan ajar carita wayang di kelas XII SMA. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kualitatif menggunakan metode deskriptif-analitik, mengumpulkan data menggunakan kartu data, serta menggunakan Teknik dokumentasi. Dari 31 fungsi struktur ditemukan ada 26 fungsi struktur cerita. Dari hasil analisis aspek sosial ditemukan ada 13 aspek sosial Pendidikan, 3 aspek sosial agama, 6 aspek sosial moral, 5 aspek sosial politik, serta 2 aspek sosial ekonomi. Ditemukan juga hasil analisis bahwa carita wayang “Semar Rarabi” dapat dijadikan bahan ajar carita wayang kelas XII SMA karena sesuai dengan kriteria bahan ajar yang mencakup tujuan yang ingin dicapai, dianggap memiliki nilai-nilai untuk kehidupan manusia, dianggap memiliki nilai sebagai warisan dari generasi sebelumnya, memiliki kegunaan untuk menguasai suatu disiplin ilmu, sesuai dengan kebutuhan dan minat siswa. Carita wayang is a literary work that needs to be studied seriously. The social aspects contained in wayang stories can be applied in everyday life in society. The purpose of this study was to describe the structure of the wayang story "Semar Rarabi" using Vladimir Propp's theory, the social aspects of the wayang story "Semar Rarabi" using Soekanto's theory, and to apply it to the teaching materials for story wayang in class XII SMA. This research is included in qualitative research using descriptive-analytic methods, collecting data using data cards, and using documentation techniques. Of the 31 structural functions, it was found that there were 26 story structure functions. From the results of the analysis of social aspects it was found that there were 13 social aspects of education, 3 socio-religious aspects, 6 socio-moral aspects, 5 socio-political aspects, and 2 socio-economic aspects. The results of the analysis also found that the story of wayang "Semar Rarabi" can be used as teaching material for class XII SMA because it fits the criteria of teaching material which includes the goals to be achieved, is considered to have values for human life, is considered to have value as an inheritance from previous generations , has the use of mastering a scientific discipline, according to the needs and interests of students.
