Abstract
ABSTRAK Siswa pada kelas XI IPS SMAS Nurul Hidayah Cikupa menunjukkan rendahnya minat belajar pada mata pelajaran geografi. Penelitian ini untuk meningkatkan minat belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran geografi dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran make a match. Metode pada penelitian ini yaitu Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dan penelitian ini berlangsung selama tiga siklus. Setting dan waktu penelitian ini yaitu Kelas XI IPS SMAS Nurul Hidayah tahun ajaran 2022 / 2023. Subyek pada penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI IPS berjumlah 16 siswa yang terdiri dari 6 siswa laki-laki dan 10 siswa perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data pada penelitian ini menggunakan teknik observasi dan wawancara. Hasil penelitian minat belajar siswa pada Pra Siklus terdapat 7 siswa dengan kategori sedang (44,43%), Siklus I terdapat 6 siswa dengan kategori sedang (57%), Siklus II terdapat 12 siswa dengan kategori baik (65,48%), Siklus III terdapat 14 siswa dengan kategori sangat baik (83,2%). Seluruh siklus sudah mencapai target keberhasilan penerapan model pembelajaran make a match. Dari hasil observasi, minat belajar siswa meningkat dikarenakan pada setiap siklus jumlah jawaban setiap indikator meningkat. Hal tersebut berdampak baik terhadap antusiasme siswa dalam menjalankan proses pembelajaran. Selain itu, hasil belajar siswa pun meningkat terlihat dari hasil post test Siklus I dengan rata-rata 12,5%. Siklus II dan Siklus III 31,25%. Hasil penelitian tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran make a match tidak hanya dapat meningkatkan minat belajar siswa aja tetapi hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran geografi juga di kelas XI IPS SMAS Nurul Hidayah Cikupa. Kata Kunci : Minat Belajar, Hasil Belajar, Make a Match ABSTRACT Students in class XI Social Nurul Hidayah Cikupa Senior High School show low interest in learning geography. Low interest in learning will certainly reduce the quality of the learning process. This research has a purpose to increase interest of learning geography and one way to increase student interest in learning is by applying the make a match learning model. The method in this research is Classroom Action Research (CAR) and this research lasts for three cycles. The setting and time of this research is Class XI Social Nurul Hidayah Cikupa High School in the 2022/2023 academic year. The subjects in this research were 16 students of class XI IPS consisting of 6 male students and 10 female students. Data collection techniques in this study using observation and interview techniques. The learning process for geography is carried out in groups. The results of the research of student interest in the pre Cycle were only 44,43% (moderate), Cycle I reached 57% (good), Cycle II reached 65,48% (good), and Cycle III reached 83,2% (very good). All cycles have achieved the target of success in implementing the make a match learning model. Besides, learning outcome has increased too. In Cyvcle I with average 12,5%, Cycle II & III 31,25%. From the results of observations, students' interest in learning increased because in each cycle the number of answers for each indicator has increased. This has a good impact on the enthusiasm of students in carrying out the learning process. The results of this research can be concluded that the application of the make a match learning model not only able to increase students interest and learning outcomesin learning geography in class XI Social Nurul Hidayah Senior High School.
