Abstract

ABSTRAK Materi pembagian bersusun pendek dipelajari oleh siswa di kelas III sekolah dasar namun, kondisi di lapangan siswa kelas III masih banyak yang kurang memahami konsep pembagian bersusun pendek dikarenakan penjelasan materi yang abstrak, sehingga menyebabkan rendahnya minat untuk mempelajari dan menganggapnya sulit. Siswa kelas III sekolah dasar berada pada masa operasional konkret, sehingga agar siswa tertarik pada pembelajaran pembagian bersusun pendek dibutuhkan media pembelajaran untuk mempermudah siswa dalam memahami materi yang abstrak menjadi konkret. Untuk mengatasi masalah tersebut, peneliti menerapkan media garis kelipatan berbasis video dalam proses pembelajaran mengenai konsep pembagian bersusun pendek. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil dari pretest dan posttest siswa kelas III SDN Rasamulya, peningkatan yang signifikan dari pretest ke posttest mengenai kemampuan pemahaman konsep pembagian bersusun pendek siswa kelas III SDN Rasamulya setelah menggunakan media garis kelipatan bilangan berbasis video, dan efektivitas media garis kelipatan bilangan berbasis video terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep pembagian bersusun pendek siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif jenis pre-eksperimen one-group pretest-posttest design. Populasi yang digunakan adalah seluruh siswa kelas III sekolah dasar di Desa Sadu berjumlah 124 siswa. Sampel yang terpilih adalah siswa kelas III SDN Rasamulya berjumlah 32 siswa, diambil dengan teknik simple random sampling. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen tes berbentuk uraian berjumlah 12 butir soal. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah uji normalitas, uji perbedaan rerata pretest dan posttest menggunakan uji Wilcoxon, uji efektivitas menggunakan simple paired t-test. Berdasarkan distribusi frekuensi rata-rata hasil pretest dan posttest mengalami peningkatan yang awalnya 74 menjadi 89, berdasarkan uji perbedaan rerata diperoleh hasil nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka, H0 ditolak yang berarti terdapat perbedaan rerata, dan berdasarkan uji efektivitas diperoleh hasil nilai signifikansi 0,000 < 0,05 maka, H0 ditolak yang berarti media yang digunakan efektif terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep pembagian bersusun pendek siswa kelas III sekolah dasar. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut disimpulkan bahwa media garis kelipatan bilangan berbasis video efektif digunakan terhadap kemampuan pemahaman konsep pembagian bersusun pendek siswa kelas III sekolah dasar dan dapat meningkatkan hasil dari pretest ke posttest. Third grade elementary school students are in the concrete operational period, so that students are interested in learning short division division, learning media is needed to make it easier for students to understand abstract material into concrete. To overcome this problem, the researcher applies video-based multiple line media in the learning process regarding the concept of short division. The purpose of this study was to find out the results of the pretest and posttest of third grade students at SDN Rasamulya, a significant increase from pretest to posttest regarding the ability to understand the concept of short tier division of third grade students at SDN Sarimulya after using multiple number line media based on video, and the effectiveness of line media. video-based number multiples on the ability to understand the concept of short division division of third grade elementary school students. The research method used is a quantitative method of pre-experiment type one-group pretest-posttest design. The population used was all grade III elementary school students in Sadu Village totaling 124 students. The sample selected was the third grade students of SDN Rasamulya totaling 32 students, taken by using simple random sampling technique. The instrument used is a test instrument in the form of a description of 12 questions. Analysis of the data used was normality test, pretest and posttest test using Wilcoxon test, effectiveness test using simple paired t-test. Based on the average frequency distribution, the pretest and posttest have increased from 74 to 89, based on the mean difference test, the results obtained a significance value of 0.000 <0.05, then H0is rejected, which means there is a difference in mean, and based on the effectiveness test, the results of the significance value are obtained. 0.000 < 0.05 then H0is rejected, which means that the media used is effective on the ability to understand the concept of short division division of third grade elementary school students. Based on these results, it was concluded that the video-based multiple line media was effective for the ability to understand the concept of short division division of third grade elementary school students and could improve the results from pretest to posttest.
