Abstract

Penelitian ini di latar belakangi oleh kurangnya nilai-nilai karakter kebinekaan global yang dimiliki oleh siswa. Nilai-nilai karakter kebinekaan global tersebut diantaranya meliputi komunikasi antar budaya, penerimaan terhadap perbedaan, penggunaan bahasa asing dengan baik, peningkatan kepercayaan diri, menyaring informasi dan bertanggung jawab dalam penggunaan dunia digital. Untuk itu pembinaan karakter kebinekaan global siswa menjadi sangat penting penting dalam proses pembelajaran guna mempersiapkan siswa menjadi warga negara yang mampu bersaing secara global. Agar hal tersebut dapat tercapai dalam proses pembelajaran peran guru diperlukan untuk mewujudkan nilai-nilai karakter tersebut. Salah satu aspek yang harus diterapkan guru dalam pembelajaran adalah pembinaan karakter kehinekaan global. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk melihat pengembangan karakter kebinekaan global siswa dalam pembelajaran pendidikan Pancasila dan kewarganegaraan menggunakan sistem blended learning. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas melalui tiga siklus pembelajaran. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah wawancara, observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi. Adapun hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siklus I, II, dan III menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil yang baik dalam pengembangan karakter kebinekaan global siswa. Kata kunci: Kebinekaan global, Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PPKn), Blended Learning ABSTRACT HESTY KHOIRUSNAINI (2002109). “DEVELOPING GLOBAL DIVERSITY CHARACTER IN PANCASILA AND CIVIC EDUCATION THROUGH BLENDED LEARNING SYSTEM” This study is based on the critical condition of global diversity values among students. The values meant are intercultural communication, acceptance of differences, the use of foreign languages, the increase of self confidence, the information filter, and responsibility in digital world. Those value should be involved in learning process of students because, essentially, they are the future generation of a nation. Therefore, to make it happen, teacher’s role is very important to help students in getting those values. One of the things that can be done by the teacher is developing global diversity character in teaching learning prosses. Thus, this study is conducted to know how well the development of global diversity character in Pancasila and civic education through blended learning system. The method used in this study is Classroom Action Research divided into three cycles. Then, the instruments used are interview, observation, questionnaire, and documentation. The result of the study derived from all three cycles; cycle I, cycle II, cycle III showed significant improvement. Moreover, it can be said that the development of global diversity character in Pancasila and civic education through blended learning system has significant effect towards the improvement of global diversity characters among the students at school.
