Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi adanya permasalahan siswa dalam menulis teks laporan hasil observasi. Permasalahan tersebut disebabkan oleh faktor internal yang berasal dari dalam diri siswa itu sendiri dan faktor eksternal yang berasal dari luar diri siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji coba metode Quantum Writing berbantuan media Articulate Storyline dalam pembelajaran menulis teks laporan hasil observasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen kuasi dengan desain penelitian Nonequivalent Control Group Design. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas X SMA Negeri 1 Cimahi. Sampel yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu siswa kelas X IPA 2 sebagai kelompok kontrol dan siswa X IPA 3 sebagai kelompok eksperimen yang dipilih menggunakan teknik purposive sampling. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini, yaitu tes kemampuan siswa (tes awal dan tes akhir) dan angket respons siswa. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan uji statistik dengan bantuan SPSS versi 28. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa nilai signifikansi <0,001 < 0,05, yang artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Dengan demikian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara hasil menulis teks laporan hasil observasi siswa yang mendapat perlakuan penerapan metode Quantum Writing berbantuan media Articulates Storyline dengan siswa yang tidak mendapat perlakuan penerapan metode Quantum Writing berbantuan media Articulate Storyline. Students face problems in writing the observation report. These problems are caused by both internal and external factors. This study aims to test the Quantum Writing method with the help of Articulate Storyline media in learning writing text for the results of observations. This study used a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. The population in this study were students of class X SMA Negeri 1 Cimahi. The sample was determined using a purposive sampling technique involving students from X IPA 2 as the control group and students from X IPA 3 as the experimental group. Data were collected from tests (pre-test and post-test) and questionnaires. Then, data were analyzed using statistical tests with the help of SPSS version 28. The results of the analysis showed that the significance value was < 0.001 < 0.05, which means Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected. This, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the results of writing the report between students who received treatment with the application of the Quantum Writing method with the help of the Articulates Storyline media and the students who did not receive the treatment.
