Abstract

Penggunaan fuzzy logic dalam mengevaluasi kemampuan akademik siswa bukanlah hal yang biasa. Dengan menggunakan fuzzy logic dapat memberikan hasil yang lebih baik dibandingakan menggunakan metode umum. Hal inilah yang mendorong peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian dalam mengevaluasi kemampuan akademik siswa menggunakan fuzzy logic. Desain penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif, dimana data yang diperoleh berasal dari nilai praktikum terhadap 32 siswa. Hasil penelitian mengungkapkan bahwa mayoritas siswa telah memahami materi serta dapat melakukan praktikum dengan kemampuan yang baik. Berdasarkan penilaian fuzzy logic system terdapat 5 orang yang mempunyai kemampuan akademik dengan kategori “sangat baik” atau 16 % dari total siswa, 16 orang mempunyai kemampuan akademik dengan kategori “baik” atau 50 % dari total siswa, dan 11 orang mempunyai kemampuan akademik “kurang” atau 34 % dari total siswa.The use of fuzzy logic in evaluating students' academic performance is uncommon. By using fuzzy logic can give better results than using the general method. This is what encourages researchers to conduct research in evaluating students' academic performance using fuzzy logic. The research design used in this research is descriptive quantitative, where the data obtained comes from the practical value of 32 students. The results of the study revealed that the majority of students had understood the material and could do practical work with good abilities. Based on the fuzzy logic system assessment, there are 5 people who have academic abilities in the "very good" category or 16% of the total students, 16 people have academic performance with the "good" category or 50% of the total students, and 11 people have academic abilities "less ” or 34% of the total students.
