Abstract
Karakter menjadi fondasi awal dalam kehidupan, manusia yang memiliki karakter hidupnya akan terarah. Namun saat ini ada banyak masalah yang terjadi, khususnya yang terjadi pada anak sekolah dasar seperti adanya bullying, kekerasan, bahkan pelecehan karena kurangnya penerapan nilai-nilai karakter pada diri anak. Sekolah dasar bisa manjadi wadah penanaman nilai karakter sejak dini, salah satunya melalui pengintegrasian nilai karakter ke dalam bahan ajar mata pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menyusun bahan ajar Pendidikan Agama Islam yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter sesuai dengan materi dan menarik bagi siswa. Karena itu, peneliti ingin menganalisis novel Ketabahan Yang Berbuah Manis sebagai alternatif bahan ajar PAI di kelas V sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode analisis isi. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini Philipp Mayring. Berdasarkan analisis dalam novel Ketabahan Yang Berbuah Manis, ditemukan 52 data temuan berupa penggalan cerita yang mengandung nilai-nilai karakter menurut Kemendikbud sebagai berikut, yaitu: 1) religius berjumlah 6, 2) jujur berjumlah 1, 3) toleran berjumlah 1, 4) disiplin berjumlah 1, 5) kerja keras berjumlah 4, 6) kreatif berjumlah 5, 7) mandiri berjumlah 2, 8) demokratis berjumlah 1, 9) rasa ingin tahu berjumlah 3, 10) menghargai prestasi berjumlah 2, 11) bersahabat/komunikatif berjumlah 5, 12) cinta damai berjumlah 7, 13) gemar membaca berjumlah 4, 14) peduli sosial berjumlah 8, dan 15) tanggung jawab berjumlah 2. Selanjutnya hasil analisis nilai-nilai karakter tersebut peneliti jadikan sebagai alternatif dalam menyusun bahan ajar pendidikan agama Islam untuk kelas V di sekolah dasar. But nowadays there are many problems that occur, especially those that occur in elementary school children such as bullying, violence, even abuse due to the lack of application of character values in the child. Elementary school can be a forum for planting character values early on, one of which is through the integration of character values into the teaching materials of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subjects. This study aims to compile Islamic Religious Education teaching materials that contain character values in accordance with the material and are of interest to students. Therefore, researcher wanted to analyze novels of fortitude that bear sweet fruit as an alternative to PAI teaching materials in grade V elementary school. This study uses qualitative approach with content analysis method. Data analysis techniques in this study Philipp Mayring. Based on the analysis in the novel of fortitude that bear sweet fruit, found 52 findings data in the form of story pieces containing character values according to the Kemendikbud as follows, namely: 1) religious amounted 6, 2) honesty amounted to 1, 3) tolerant amounted to 1, 4) discipline amounted to 1, 5) hard work amounted to 4, 6) creative amounted to 5, 7) independent amounted to 2, 8) democratic amounted to 1, 9) curiosity amounted to 3, 10) Appreciate achievements amounted to 2, 11) friendly/communicative amounted to 5, 12) peace-loving amounted to 7, 13) liked to read amounted to 4, 14) social care amounted to 8, and 15) responsibility amounted to 2. Furthermore, the results of the analysis of character values were used as an alternative in making Islamic education teaching materials for grade V in elementary school.
