Abstract
Penelitian ini tentang pengaruh media pembelajaran berbasis teknologi informasi dan komunikasi terhadap motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep. Latarbelakang masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya motivasi belajar dan rendahnya hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran ekonomi kelas sepuluh. Tujuan penelitian untuk mengetahui pengaruh penggunaan media pembelajaran berbasis Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi terhadap motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan bentuk nonequivalent control group design. Data terlebih dahulu diuji dengan uji normalitas, homogentias. Selanjutnya dilakukan uji-t dari data pretes-postes motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol dilakukan untuk uji hipotesis penelitian. Berdasarkan uji statistik maka hasil penelitian yang pertama adalah terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK. Kedua, terdapat perbedaan motivasi belajar dan pemahaman konsep peserta didik antara sebelum dan sesudah perlakuan pada kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media grafis. Ketiga, tidak terdapat perbedaan peningkatan motivasi belajar peserta didik antara kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media grafis.Terdapat perbedaan peningkatan pemahaman konsep peserta didik pada kelas eksperimen yang menggunakan media pembelajaran berbasis TIK dengan kelas kontrol yang menggunakan media grafis. Efektivitas dan efisiensi pembelajaran dengan memanfaatkan media berbasis TIK akan lebih baik jika difasilitasi dengan kelengkapan sarana dan prasarana yang diiringi dengan keterpahaman pendidik terhadap TIK sehingga proses perancangan, pengembangan, dan keterpakaian dapat dilakukan dengan baik dan benar. Kata Kunci: Kuasi Eksperimen, TIK, Motivasi Belajar, Pemahaman Konsep This research was about the influence of learning media based on the information and communicaiton technology on learning motivation and concept understanding. The background problems in this research were the low level of motivation and the low level of students’ leraning outcomes in tenth grade in Economic subject. The objective of this study was to find out the influence of learning media based on information and communicaiton technology on students’ motivation and concept understanding. Research method was used in this study was quasy-experiment in the form of non-equivalent control group design. Data were tested with the normality test, homogeneity. Then, T-test was performed on the data from pre-test and post-test of the students’ learning motivation and concept understanding. Experimental class and control class were then conducted to test the research hypothesis. Based on the statistical result, the first study showed that there was difference in students’ learning motivation and concept understanding before and after the treatment in the experimental class using media learning based on ICT. Second, there was difference in students’ learning motivation and concept understanding before and after the treatment in control class using graphic media. Third, there was difference in the imporvement of students’ learning motivation between the experimental class using learning media based on ICT and control class using graphic media. There was difference in the improvement of students’ concept understanding in the experimental class using learning media based on ICT and control class using graphic media. The effectivness and efficiency of learning by using learning media based on ICT would be better if it was facillitated with complete facilities and infrastrustures and accompanied by educators understanding on ICT, so that the process of designing, developing, and applicability can be done well and properly.
