Abstract

Smartphone merupakan teknologi canggih yang memiliki banyak kemampuan termasuk sebagai alat ber-komunikasi, smartphone tidak hanya digunakan di kalangan dewasa namun terdapat juga smartphone di kalangan anak-anak. Oleh sebab itu peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian tentang Dampak Penggunaan Smartphone Dalam Pembelajaran di Sekolah Dasar dan tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui aplikasi yang terdapat di smartphone anak sekolah dasar, mengetahui dampak dari penggunaan smartphone, mengetahui dan menganalisis solusi dari dampak penggunaan smartphone. Tipe penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian kualitatif, sifat penelitian ini adalah analisis deskriptif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, dokumentasi, dan wawancara. Teknik keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber data dan metode. Hasil penelitian yang diperoleh yaitu aplikasi yang terdapat dalam smartphone anak dan intesitas penggunaan smartphone berbeda-beda sehingga dibutuhkan pengawasan dari orangtua, terdapat dampak negatif dan positif dalam penggunaan smartphone pada anak Sekolah Dasar serta sanksi yang diberikan oleh pihak sekolah dan orangtua jika anak menggunakan smartphone secara berlebihan. Smartphone is sophisticated technology that has many capabilities, including as a communication device, smartphones aren’t only used among adults but also among children. Therefore researchers intersted in conducting research about The Impact of Using Smartphone in Learning at Elementary School and the purpose of this research is to determine the applications contained in children elementary school smartphone, find out the impact of using smartphone, find out and analyze solutions to the impact of using smartphone. This type of research used in this study is a type of qualitative research, the nature of this research is decriptive analysis. Data collection techniques using observation, documentation, and interviews. The data validity techniques uses triangulation of data sources and methods. The research results obtained are the applications contained in childern’s smartphones and the intesity of the using smartphone vary so that parental supervision is needed, there are negative and positive impacts on the using smartphones on elementary school children and sanctions given by schools and parent if childrens use smartphone excessively.
