Abstract

Penelitian ini menggunakan objek penelitian berupa naskah yang berjudul Wawacan Arjuna Wijaya (kemudian disingkat WAW), yang merupakan penelitian filologi terhadap naskah yang menjadi koleksi Museum Sribaduga, Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan kajian filologis berupa kritik teks dengan penerapan metode edisi naskah standar yang memfokuskan pada hasil edisi teks yang mudah dibaca serta dipahami oleh pembaca, dan mengungkap kandungan isi naskah. Dari hasil analisis yang dilakukan, didapatkan temuan berikut; (1) Kondisi naskah WAW tergolong dalam naskah baik karena tulisan/aksara masih jelas terbaca, (2) jumlah penyimpangan redaksional dalam naskah sebanyak: (a) bentuk penyimpangan omisi sebanyak 32 kasus atau 1,7, (b) bentuk penyimpangan emendasi sebanyak 4 kasus penyimpangan atau 0,2, (c) jumlah penyimpangan adisi sebanyak 290 kasus atau 15,13% dari keseluruhan teks naskah. (3) Naskah WAW merupakan naskah yang berisi tentang peperangan yang terjadi untuk menyelamatkan sebuah negara yang terkena penyakit mematikan;---This research is a philologycal study. A text entitled Wawacan Arjuna Wijaya (as know as WAW) is used as object of the research. The text is a collection from Sribaduga Museum in Bandung. The philologycal study in the textual criticism from that applied standard manuscript edition method is used in the research. It is focused on the results of the text edition can be read and understood easily by the reader to reveal the content of the text. From the results of the analysis, the researcher found out; (1) the condition of WAW text is classified as good text. Since the writing/script is clearly legible, (2) the number of the editorial deviations in the text are; (a) the form of lacunae negligences are 32 cases or 1.7, (b) the form of emendation deviations are 4 cases or 0.2, (c) the number of the addition deviations are 290 cases or 15.13% of the whole text. (3) WAW manuscript is a text that tells about the wae that occured to save a country affected by a deadly disese.
