Abstract

Penciptaan karya sastra di era sastra modern tidak lagi dibatasi aturan baku. Para sastrawan lebih banyak berekspresi dan berinovasi untuk kepentingan komersil dalam meraih minat pembaca. E. Rokajat Asura adalah penulis novel Harisbaya Bersuami Dua Raja yang telah melakukan itu dan menjadikan Babad Sumedang sebagai sumber rujukan utama. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk memperoleh deskripsi yang berkaitan dengan struktur teks, persamaan dan perbedaan pada babad dan novel, serta pemanfaatannya untuk membuat bahan ajar pengayaan SMA. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif analisis komparatif. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan studi dokumentasi. Teori yang digunakan sebagai berikut. Pertama, analisis fakta-fakta cerita menggunakan teori Robert Stanton. Kedua, analisis sintaksis pada alur menggunakan skema aktan dan model fungsional A.J. Greimas. Ketiga, analisis transformasi menggunakan teori Riffaterre dan Pradotokusumo. Keempat, teori hipertekstual menggunakan teori Gerard Genette. Hasil penelitian ini sebagai berikut. Pertama, aspek semiotika yang dianalisis berupa aspek sintaktika, semantika, dan pragmatika. Kedua, novel dan babad memiliki persamaan pada nama tokoh, serta perbedaan pada latar dan alur cerita. Ketiga, bahan ajar berupa buku pengayaan pengetahuan dibuat berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang bisa dimanfaatkan untuk pembelajaran sastra di SMA. ;--- The creation of literary works in the modern era is no longer limited by the standard rules. Many writers express and innovate more for commercial benefits to gain readers’ interest. It has been done by E. Rokajat Asura, the writer of a novel Harisbaya Bersuami Dua Raja. He also used Babad Sumedang as a main reference. The study aims at exploring description related to the structure of the text, similarities, and differences in the chronicle and novel, and its utilization as an enrichment teaching material in high school. The study used a descriptive method of comparative analysis. The data for the study were collected through documentation study. The theories used are as follows: first, the analysis of the facts in the story by using Robert Stanton’s theory; second, the syntactic analysis of the storyline by using the actantial scheme and functional model of A. J. Greimas; third, transformation analysis by using the theories by Riffaterre and Pradotokusumo; fourth, hypertext theory of Gerard Genette. From the data analysis, the result has shown that (1) the semiotic aspects analyzed in the novel and the chronicle were syntactic, semantic, and pragmatic aspect; (2) the novel and the chronicle have similarities in terms of characters’ names yet have differences in the setting and storyline; (3) teaching materials in the form of knowledge enrichment books are created based on the result of the study that can be used for literary learning in high school.
