    Abstract

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan kompetensi guru dan prestasi belajar siswa, serta memverifikasi pengaruh kompetensi guru terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi Dasar Kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Desain penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian kuantitatif, menggunakan metode deskriptif dan verifikatif. Data yang dianalisis merupakan data yang diperoleh melalui penyebaran angket kepada siswa kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung yang berjumlah 104 orang. Angket kompetensi guru tersusun dari 30 item pernyataan dengan 5 alternatif jawaban . Pengujian data menggunakan uji normalitas dengan menggunakan rumus uji Kolmogrov-Smirnov dan analisis korelasi dengan menggunakan rumus Pearson Product Moment Seluruh pengolahan data menggunakan software Microsoft Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) versi 16.0. Dari perhitungan uji t diketahui thitungttabel , sehingga ditarik kesimpulan bahwa kompetensi guru berpengaruh postitif terhadap prestasi belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran Akuntansi Dasar Kelas X di SMK Negeri 1 Bandung;---This research aimed to describe teacher competence and student achievement, as well as to verification the effect of teacher competence toward student achievement on Basic Accounting grade X of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. The research design used is quantitative research, using descriptive and verification methods. The data analyzed is data obtained through questionnaires to 104 X grade students of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung. Teacher competence’s questionnaire ranged by 30 statements with 5 alternative responses. Testing data using normality test by using Kolmogrov-Smirnov test formula and correlation analysis by using Pearson Product Moment formula. All data processing using software Microsoft Statistical Product and Service Solution (SPSS) version 16.0 The result of t-test shows tstatisticttabel , which is means that teacher competence have positive influence toward student achievement on Basic Accounting grade X of SMK Negeri 1 Bandung.
