Abstract

SMK dalam implementasi pelaksanaan program pendidikannya memiliki kurikulum. Keterkaitan SMK dengan dunia kerja menyebabkan kurikulum yang diimplementasikan di sekolah harus memenuhi tuntutan dunia kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: 1) Jumlah Kompetensi Dasar (KD) kurikulum 2013 revisi Kompetensi Keahlian Teknik Komputer dan Jaringan (TKJ) di SMKN 4 Bandung 2) Jumlah KD Kompetensi Keahlian TKJ yang dibutuhkan di Dunia Kerja Sektor Industri Telekomunikasi 3) Untuk mengetahui besar kesesuaian kompetensi SMK kurikulum 2013 revisi Kompetensi Keahlian TKJ dengan kebutuhan Dunia Kerja Sektor Industri Telekomunikasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Populasi penelitian adalah SMKN 4 Bandung dan 10 Industri Telekomunikasi di Jawa Barat dan Jakarta. Sampel ditentukan dengan teknik purposive sampling untuk Industri Telekomunikasi dan sampling jenuh untuk SMKN 4 Bandung. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan merupakan kuesioner. Teknik analisis yang digunakaan adalah recall dan precision. Hasil penelitian ini adalah sebagai berikut 1) Jumlah KD pada Kompetensi Keahlian TKJ adalah 135 kompetensi dan KD yang diajarkan yaitu sebanyak 119 kompetensi 2) Jumlah KD yang dibutuhkan oleh Industri Telekomunikasi adalah 151 kompetensi, dimana 125 kompetensi merupakan kompetensi yang terdapat pada kurikulum 2013 revisi sedangkan 26 kompetensi merupakan tambahan dari industri 3). Kesesuaian KD pada kompetensi keahlian TKJ dengan kebutuhan dunia kerja sektor industri telekomunikasi adalah sebesar 83,84% dan dapat dikatakan sangat sesuai dengan kebutuhan industri.;Vocational High Schools (VHS) in implementing education programs have a curriculum. The relationship between VHS and the world of work causes the curriculum implemented in schools to meet the demands of the world of work. This study aims to find out: 1) Number of Basic Competencies (KD) curriculum 2013 R in Computer and Network Engineering (TKJ) program at SMKN 4 Bandung 2) Number of KD Competency in TKJ program needed in the World of Work in the Telecommunications Industry Sector 3) relevancy of VHS curriculum 2013 R in TKJ program with the needs of the World of Telecommunications Industry Work Sector. The research method used is quantitative descriptive. The study population was SMKN 4 Bandung and 10 Telecommunications Industries in West Java and Jakarta. The sample is determined by purposive sampling technique for the Telecommunications Industry and saturated sampling for SMKN 4 Bandung. The research instrument used was a questionnaire. The analysis technique used is recall and precision. The results of this study are as follows 1) The number of KD in TKJ program is 135 competencies and KD taught are 119 competencies 2) Competencies needed by the Telecommunications Industry are 151 competencies, of which 125 are competencies contained in the 2013 R curriculum while 26 competencies is in addition to industry 3) The relevancy of KD in the TKJ program with the needs of the world of work in the telecommunications industry is 83.84% and can be said to be very relevant with the industry's needs.
