Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan gaya mengajar problem solving dalam keterampilan bermain hockey-like games dapat meningkatkan physical self concept (PSC). Penelitian ini menggunakan penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK). Penelitian dilakukan dalam dua siklus, setiap siklus dilaksanakan sebanyak dua kali tindakan penelitian. Subjek penelitian adalah kelas V disalah satu sekolah dasar di Kota Bandung sebanyak 30 siswa (Putra: 14; Putri: 16). Physical Self Concept (PSC) diukur melalui instrument Physical Self-Description Questionare (PSDQ) dan keterampilan bermain diukur melalui GPAI (Game Performance Analisis Instrumen). Data dianalisis menggunakan teknik persentase, pada putra aspek physical self concept (PSC) cenderung pada indikator kekuatan, kemudian pada putri aspek physical self concept (PSC) cendurung pada indikator penampilan, dikaitkan dengan keterampilan bermain dapat mempengaruhi physical self concept (PSC) siswa secara keseluruhan. Dengan penelitian ini bahwa penerapan gaya mengajar problem solving dalam keterampilan bermain hockey-like games dapat meningkatkan physical self concept (PSC) dan keterampilan bermain siswa. The aim of this research is to explore about the practice of problem solving method in ability of hockey-like games in increasing physical self concept (PSC). This research used action research in class (PTK). This research was conducted in 2 cycles, each cycle was held twice. The subjects of this research were 30 students grade V in one of school in Bandung (male: 14; female: 16). Physical self-concept (PSC) was measured by Physical Self-Description questionnaire (PSDQ) instrument and for the playing skill was measured by GPAI (Game Performance Analysis Instrument). The data analysis used percentage technique, for male students the physical self concept (PSC) aspect tend to strength indicator, meanwhile for female students the physical self concept (PSC) aspect tend to appearance aspect, in associate with playing skills can overall affect the physical self concept (PSC) students’.
