Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji efektivitas teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode kuasi eksperimen non equivalent pre test-post test control group design. bertujuan untuk (1) memperoleh gambaran profil keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal peserta didik kelas, (2) merancang program peningkatan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal menggunakan teknik role playing, dan (3) menguji dan membuktikan keefektifan teknik role playing untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal remaja. Lokasi penelitian di SMPN 26 Bandung pada tahun ajaran 2016/2017 dengan mengambil subjek penelitian yakni peserta didik kelas VIII dengan jumlah kelompok eksperimen dan kelompok kontrol masing-masing 31 orang peserta didik yang berada pada kategori sedang. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan adalah instrumen keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan secara empirik bahwa perlakuan atau intervensi dengan teknik role playing efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan komunikasi interpersonal remaja di SMPN 26 Bandung Tahun Ajaran 2016/2017. ---- This research aimed to find out the effectiveness of role playing technique to improve interpersonal communication skills using quantitative approach with quasi-experimental non-equivalent method pretest-post test control group design. (2) designing an improvement program for interpersonal communication skills using role playing techniques, and (3) testing and proving the effectiveness of role playing techniques to improve interpersonal communication skills of adolescents. The location of research at SMPN 26 Bandung in the academic year 2016/2017 and the subject of research that students class VIII with the number of experimental groups and control groups of each 31 students who are in the category of being. The research instrument used is instrument of interpersonal communication skill. The results showed empirically that the treatment or intervention with effective role playing techniques to improve interpersonal communication skills of adolescents at SMPN 26 Bandung Academic Year 2016/2017.
