Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya hasil belajar pada mata pelajaran ekonomi dilihat dari nilai rata-rata ulangan pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) dan pengulangan materi pelajaran terhadap hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran ekonomi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu survei eksplanatori. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah guru ekonomi SMA Negeri se-Kabupaten Bandung, dengan jumlah sampel sebanyak 50 guru. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan yaitu regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa: (i) hasil belajar siswa berada pada kategori sedang, pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) berada pada kategori tinggi dan pengulangan materi pelajaran berada pada kategori tinggi; (ii) pemberian penguatan (reinforcement) berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa; (iii) pengulangan materi pelajaran berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap hasil belajar siswa.;---This research is motivated by low learning outcomes on economic subject as seen from the average score of exam on economic subjects. This study aims to investigate the influence of reinforcement and repetition of learning on students learning outcomes on economic subjects. The research method used in this research is explanatory survey. The population in this study was the teachers of economic in Senior High School in Bandung, with a total sample 50 teachers. Data analysis technique used in this research is multiple linear regressions. The results of the study showed that: (i) student learning outcomes was in moderate category, reinforcement skill was in high category and repetition of learning was in high category; (ii) reinforcement skill have a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes; (iii) repetition of learning have a positive and significant effect on students’ learning outcomes.
