Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji pengaruh tayangan film pendek ”bumiku” terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa pada pembelajaran IPS di SMP YAS Bandung. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuasi eksperimen dengan desain “non-equivalent control group design” dengan pola “sebelum” dan “sesudah” serta dilakukan treatment pada kelas VIII-A sebagai kelompok kelas eksperimen. Sedangkan VIII-D sebagai kelompok kelas kontrol yang dijadikan pembanding. Kelas VIII-A dan VIII-D dipilih karena kesamaan sikap siswa yang kurang peduli terhadap lingkungannya dan karakteristik siswa di dalam kelas yang mirip. Pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik sampel bertujuan (purpose). Pengumpulan data sikap peduli lingkungan siswa menggunakan instrumen berupa angket tertutup. Setelah data terkumpul, lalu dilakukan analisis secara kuantitatif melalui uji hipotesis atau Uji-t. Diperoleh hasil perbedaan antara “sebelum” dan “sesudah” pada kelas eksperimen yang diberikan treatment menunjukkan peningkatan yang signifikan, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol antara “sebelum” dan “sesudah” yang tidak diberikan treatment hasilnya sama atau tidak ada peningkatan. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan terdapat efektivitas dari tayangan film pendek ”bumiku” yang berpengaruh terhadap sikap peduli lingkungan siswa dalam pembelajaran IPS.;---This research aims to test the influence of the short movies "bumiku" against an attitude of caring environment students to the study of social science in junior high High School of YAS Bandung. This research uses quasi experiment method to the design of "non-equivalent control group design" with a pattern of "before" and "after" as well as conducted treatment on the class VIII-A class of experiments as a group. While the VIII-D as a group control class that made the comparison. Class VIII-A and VIII-D was chosen because of the similarities in attitude of students who are less concerned to the environment and the characteristics of the students in the class are similar. Sampling sampling techniques using aim (purpose). Data collection the attitude of caring environment students use instruments in the form of the now closed. After the data is collected, and then do analysis quantitatively through test hypotheses or test-t. Obtained results of the difference between "before" and "after" in the experimental classes are given treatment showed a significant increase, whereas in the control class between "before" and "after" are not given treatment the results are the same or There is no improvement. So it can be inferred, there is the effectiveness of the short movies "bumiku" the effect on the attitude of students in a learning environment, IPS.
