Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurangnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar di kelas IV salah satu SDs di kota Bandung. Hal ini terlihat dari rendahnya aktivitas dan hasil belajar siswa pada pembelajaran IPS. Tujuan penelitian untuk mendeskripsikan tahapan pelaksanaan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw untuk meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa di kelas IV SD, untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di kelas IVSD, dan untuk mendeskripsikan peningkatan hasil belajar IPS siswa dengan menerapkan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw di kelas IV SD. Metode penelitian menggunakan model Kemmis dan Taggart dengan dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data pada peneliitian ini menggunakan tes, dan observasi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas kelas IV yang berjumlah 35 siswa. Siswa sangat antusias dan aktif selama proses pembelajaran melalui penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw. Pada siklus I nilai ketuntasan 75,75 dan siklus II meningkat dengan ketuntasan 96,96%. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe jigsaw dapat meningkatkan aktivitas dan hasil belajar IPS siswa di kelas IV SD This research is motivated by the lack of activity and learning outcomes in the fourth grade of one of the primary schools in Bandung. This can be seen from the low activity and learning outcomes of students on IPS learning. The purpose of the research is to describe the stages of implementation of jigsaw type cooperative learning model to improve the activity and learning outcomes of IPS students in the fourth grade of elementary school, to describe the improvement of learning activities and the results of students' IPS learning by applying cooperative learning model of jigsaw type in IVSD class, and to describe the improvement of study result IPS students by applying the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in the fourth grade of elementary school. Research method using Kemmis and model with two cycles. Techniques of collecting data on this study using tests, and observations. The subjects of the study were the students of the fourth grade, which were 35 students. Students are very enthusiastic and active during the learning process through the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning. In cycle I, the 75.75 and cycle II completeness increased with 96.96% completeness. Thus it can be concluded that the application of jigsaw type cooperative learning can improve the activity and learning outcomes of IPS students in grade IV elementary school.
