Abstract

ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kesulitan pembelajar BIPA tingkat menengah saat berkomunikasi, khususnya ketidakpercayaan diri mereka untuk bercerita atau menghubungkan alur dalam sebuah buku cerita karena minimnya kosakata bahasa Indonesia yang mereka kuasai. Karenanya dibutuhkan sebuah teknik dan media yang dapat menarik minat, serta memudahkan mereka dalam memahami dan mengaplikasikan pembelajaran berbicara. Maka dipilih judul teknik bercerita berbantuan media cerita rakyat Indonesia dalam penelitian ini. Rumusan masalahnya adalah (1) Bagaimana kemampuan berbicara subjek penelitian sebelum diberikannya intervensi dalam tahap baseline-1?; (2) Bagaimana kemampuan berbicara subjek penelitian ketika diberi intervensi dengan penerapan teknik bercerita berbantuan media Cerita Rakyat Indonesia?; (3) Bagaimana kemampuan berbicara subjek penelitian setelah diberi intervensi pada dalam tahap baseline-2?, (4) Bagaimana perbandingan kemampuan berbicara subjek penelitian antara tahap baseline-1, intervensi, dan baseline-2?; Berdasarkan analisis data penelitian dihasilkan : pada subjek I, rentang kenaikan antara kondisi baseline-1 dan intervensi adalah 9,85; rentang kenaikan antara kondisi baseline-2 dan kondisi intervensi adalah 5,55; rentang antara kondisi baseline-1 dan kondisi baseline-2 adalah 15,4. Pada subjek II, rentang kenaikan antara kondisi baseline-1 dan intervensi adalah 7, 28; rentang kenaikan antara kondisi baseline-2 dan kondisi intervensi adalah 4,92. Sedangkan rentang antara kondisi baseline-1 dan kondisi baseline-1 dan kondisi baseline-2 adalah 12,2. Rata-rata nilai kemampuan subjek I dan II mengalami peningkatan tiap kondisinya. Jadi penerapan pembelajaran melalui teknik bercerita berbantuan media cerita rakyat Indonesia, terbukti dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berbicara pembelajar BIPA tingkat menengah. EFECTIVENESS OF STORYTELLING TECHNIQUES WITH INDONESIAN FOLKLORE IN LEARNING SPEAKING (Single Subject Experiment Study at South Korean Intermediate Level BIPA learner at Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia) Istiqomah Putri Lushinta 1306157 ABSTRACT This research is motivated by the difficulties of BIPA level learners when communicating, especially their distrust to tell or understanding the flow in a story book because of the lack of Indonesian vocabulary that they mastered. Therefore it takes a technique and media that can attract interest, and facilitate them in understanding and applying learning to speak. Then selected the title of cigar media techniques folklore indonesia in this research. Problem formulation is (1) how the ability to speak the subject of research before it is given in the basic stage-1? (2) What is the ability to speak the subject of research when labeled with the technique of speech Media Cerita Rakyat Indonesia? (3) What is the ability to speak the subject of research after being given intervention at baseline-2 stage ?, (4) How to compare the vocabulary abilities of the research subjects between the baseline-1, intervention, and baseline-2 stages; Based on data analysis of research result: in subject I, the range of increase between baseline-1 and intervention was 9.85; Increase range between baseline-2 condition and condition of situation 5,55; The range between baseline-1 and baseline-2 is 15.4. In subject II, the range of increments between baseline-1 and interval conditions was 7, 28; The rate of increase between baseline-2 and situation conditions is 4.92. The range between baseline-1 and baseline-1 and baseline-2 is 12.2. Average ability level of subjects I and II. So the application of learning through cigar media techniques folklore Indonesia, proven to improve the ability to speak BIPA general learner.
