Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis menggunakan pendekatan problem solving heuristic (PSH) antara setting kooperatif dan menulis matematika pada kelas 8 SMP. Jenis penelitian ini adalah kuasi eksperimen dengan posttest control design only. Subjek penelitian yang dipilih adalah siswa kelas VIII pada salah satu SMP di Baleendah pada semester genap tahun ajaran 2016/2017 sebanyak 86 siswa, di mana masing-masing kelas eksperimen terdiri dari 43 siswa. Instrumen yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah instrumen tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis yang terdiri dari empat soal uraian sesuai dengan indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini serta lembar observasi aktivitas siswa. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan pencapaian kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis secara signifikan antara siswa yang memperoleh PSH dengan setting kooperatif dan siswa yang memperoleh PSH dengan menulis matematika. ;--- The purpose of this research was to compare mathematical problem solving skill achievement among the students who received problem solving heuristic approach by cooperative setting and the students who received problem solving heuristic approach by writing mathematics method. This research was posttest control design quasi experimental. The subject of this research was the VIII grade students of one SMP in Baleendah on second-half semester 2016/2017 academic year. 86 students had taken part on this research and then was divided into two experimental groups, 43 students each. The instrument itself was a mathematical problem solving test consisting of four problems refer to the problem solving skill indicator based on the problem on this research along with student activity observation worksheet. The outcome of this research shows that there is no significance difference between mathematical problem solving skill achievement of students who received problem solving heuristic approach by cooperative setting and who received problem solving heuristic approach by writing mathematics method.
