Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan model pembelajaran yang dapat melatih keterampilan berpikir kritis dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa. Pengembangan model pembelajaran ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kurang optimalnya pembekalan kedua keterampilan tersebut pada pembelajaran fisika. Pengembangan ini didasarkan pada pemBelajaran kooperatif yang memiliki tahapan belajar memBaca, berTanya, Turnamen dan Refleksi, dan diberi label pembelajaran “Be BeTTeR”. Penelitian dilakukan pada pokok bahasan bunyi di suatu sekolah menengah atas. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah research and development (R & D), yang terdiri atas tahapan define, design, develop, dan disseminate. Produk yang dihasilkan dari penelitian ini adalah: model pembelajaran “Be BeTTeR” dan kelengkapannya berupa bahan ajar multimedia interaktif (MMI) dan website yang mengintegrasikan model “Be BeTTeR” berbantuan MMI, serta instrumen proses dan hasil pembelajaran keterampilan berpikir kritis dan berpikir kreatif pada konsep bunyi. Hasil analisis data menunjukkan bahwa N-gain keterampilan berpikir kritis dan N-gain keterampilan berpikir kreatif siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran “Be BeTTeR” berbantuan MMI lebih tinggi dan secara signifikan dibandingkan siswa yang menggunakan model pembelajaran konvensional. Hasil tersebut didukung pula oleh tanggapan positif siswa dan guru terhadap penggunaan model pembelajaran “Be BeTTeR” serta penggunaan MMI dan website bunyi.;---The aim of this study is to develop a model of instruction that can train students’ critical and creative thinking skills. The development is motivated by a less optimal debriefing both these skills in learning physics. This development is based on cooperative learning (pemBelajaran kooperatif) that has stages of learning to read (memBaca), ask questions (berTanya), Tournament, and Reflection, and they are labeled as “Be BeTTeR”. The study was conducted on the subject of sound in a high school. The method used is research and development (R & D), which consists of the stages define, design, develop, and disseminate (such as validation test model). The product resulted from this research are: “Be BeTTeR” instruction model and its accessories in the form of teaching materials and websites that integrate “Be BeTTeR” and interactive multimedia (IMM), as well as instruments of process and critical and creative thinking skilss instruments of learning outcomes on the concept of sound. The result show that the N-gain critical thinking skills and N-gain creative thinking skills students who use “Be BeTTeR” aided by IMM is higher than and significantly with students who use conventional learning. These results are also supported by the positive feedback of students and teachers to the use of learning model “Be BeTTeR” as well as the use of IMM and website.
