Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains dengan memanfaatkan media konkret dalam pembelajaran IPA secara inkuiri. Penelitian dilakukan dengan menggunakan metode eksperimen semu dengan desain Matcing Only Pretest Posttest Control Group Design. Subjek penelitiannya adalah siswa kelas V di salah satu SD yang ada di kecamatan Purwakarta. Berdasarkan hasil uji perbedaan dua rerata peningkatan dengan menggunakan uji t, diperoleh kesimpulan bahwa pembelajaran IPA secara inkuiri dengan memanfaatkan media konkret secara signifikan dapat lebih meningkatkan penguasaan konsep dan keterampilan proses sains siswa sekolah dasar dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran secara konvensional berbantuan media audio visual---; This study aims to determine the increase mastery of concepts and science process skills by utilizing concrete media in science learning by inquiry. The study was conducted by using a quasi-experimental design with matcing Only pretest posttest control group design . His research is fifth grade students in one elementary school in Purwakarta districts . Based on the test results mean difference two improvement by using the t test , the conclusion that learning science by inquiry by the media using concrete can significantly improve the mastery of concepts and skills of elementary school students' science process compared with conventional learning aided audio- visual media .
