Abstract
Skripsi ini berjudul Kesenian Macapat Grup Budi Utomo Pada Acara Syukuran Kelahiran Bayi Di Kujangsari Kota Banjar. Rumusan Masalah yang dikaji diantaranya struktur pertunjukan, unsur-unsur musik, dan fungsi kesenian macapat Grup Budi Utomo di Kujangsari. Untuk membedah masalah yang dikaji menggunakan teori struktur pertunjukan, kesenian tradisional, jenis kesenian tradisional, kesenian macapat, syukuran ritual kelahiran bayi, unsur-unsur musik, fungsi kesenian, dan karakteristik tembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data melalui, observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Agar data yang didapatkan valid dan reabilitas maka dilakukan reduksi, analisis, dan verifikasi. Hasil penelitian terdiri dari pembukaan, inti pertunjukan, dan penutup. Dari semua itu memiliki makna pesan-pesan tertentu yang terdapat dalam syair tembang macapat. Semua temuan tersebut diharapkan mempunyai kebermanfaatan bagi Grup Budi Utomo, masyarakat umum dan lembaga pendidikan. This research is entitled Macapat Arts of Budi Utomo Group on Baby Birth Celebration in Kujangsari, Banjar City which aims to discover, analyse, describe, and convey the Macapat Arts. The reviewed formulations of problems are the structure of the show, the elements of the music, and the functions of Macapat Arts of Budi Utomo Group in Kujangsari. This research employed the theory of structures of the show, traditional arts, types of traditional arts, macapat arts, baby birth ritual celebration, elements of music, functions of arts, and characteristics of songs. The method of this research is a descriptive method with the qualitative approach. The technique of data collection in this research used the observation, interview, and documentation study. The reduction, analysis, and verification were conducted to gain the valid and reliable data. The results of this research consist of the opening, the main show, and the closure. There are particular meanings and messages in the lyrics of the macapat song. All of those findings are expected to have usefulness for Budi Utomo Group, common people, and educational institutions.
