Abstract
Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh permasalahan rendahnya tanggung jawab siswa pada pembelajaran sejarah di kelas XI IIS 2 SMAN 24 Bandung. Penelitian yang dilakukan berkaitan dengan penerapan metode numbered head together. Berdasarkan latar belakang penelitian, maka rumusan masalah penelitian ini adalah “Bagaimana menumbuhkan tanggung jawab siswa dalam proses pembelajaran sejarah di kelas XI IIS 2 SMAN 24 Bandung dengan menggunakan metode numbered head together?”. Tujuan utama dari penelitian ini adalah untuk menumbuhkan tanggung jawab siswa dalam pembelajaran sejarah. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian tindakan kelas (PTK) dengan menggunakan desain model Kemmis dan Taggart. Desain model Kemmis dan Taggart ini terdiri dari empat tahapan yakni perencanaan (plan), tindakan (act), observasi (observation), dan refleksi (reflection). Berdasarkan penelitian yang sudah dilakukan, hasilnya menunjukkan bahwa penerapan metode NHT dalam pembelajaran sejarah dapat menumbuhkan tanggung jawab siswa di kelas XI IIS 2 SMAN 24 Bandung. Hal ini terlihat dari pencapaian siswa dalam setiap pelaksanaan tindakan yang terus mengalami perubahan yang cukup signifikan. Indikator dari tanggung jawab yang peneliti amati meliputi siswa melaksanakan tugas sesuai dengan arahan yang telah diinstruksikan oleh guru, mengerjakan tugas dengan baik dan benar, disiplin terhadap mengerjakan tugas, dan konsekuensi terhadap setiap perbuatan. Meskipun ada empat indikator, namun indikator siswa melaksanakan tugas sesuai dengan arahan yang telah diinstruksikan oleh guru dominan muncul pada saat metode NHT diterapkan. Berdasarkan hasil yang diperoleh, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan metode NHT dapat menjadi solusi dalam pembelajaran sejarah untuk menumbuhkan tanggung jawab siswa. ---------- This research is motivated by the problem of lack of responsibility of students on history teaching in class XI IIS 2 SMAN 24 Bandung. Research carried out with regard to the application of the method numbered head together.Based on the background research, the formulation of this research is "How to foster responsibility in the learning process in the history of class XI IIS 2 SMAN 24 Bandung using numbered heads together?". The main objective of this study is to cultivate students' responsibility in learning history. The research method used is the method of classroom action research (PTK) using Kemmis model design and Taggart. Taggart Kemmis model design and consists of four phases namely planning (plan), action (act), observations (observation) and reflection (reflection) Based on research that has been conducted, the results show that the application of NHT history teaching methods to foster the responsibility of students in class XI IIS 2 SMAN 24 Bandung. This can be seen from the achievement of students in each implementation action continues to experience significant changes. Indicators of responsibility researchers observed include students carry out duties in accordance with the directives that have been instructed by the teacher, the task properly, the discipline to do the work, and the consequences of any action. Although there are four indicators, but the indicators of students carry out duties in accordance with the directives that have been instructed by the teacher appears when the predominant NHT method is applied. Based on the results obtained, it can be concluded that the application of the method NHT may be a solution in history to foster the student's responsibility.
