Abstract
Tingkat turnover yang tinggi dapat menimbulkan dampak negatif bagi organisasi. Untuk memprediksi turnover maka dapat dilihat dari turnover intention yaitu kecenderungan sikap seorang karyawan memiliki kemungkinan untuk meninggalkan organisasi atau mengundurkan diri secara sukarela dari pekerjaannya. Banyak faktor-faktor penentu turnover intention salah satunya adalah kepribadian. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui gambaran tipe kepribadian, turnover intention dan hubungan antara tipe kepribadian dengan turnover intention. Subjek penelitian terdiri dari 72 subjek yang merupakan seluruh karyawan bagian sales consumer loan di PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero), Tbk Bandung. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu metode penelitian kuantitatif dengan teknik studi korelasi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu dengan kuisoner. Sebelumnya peneliti melakukan uji coba alat ukur kepada 100 responden dimana tipe kepribadian yang terdiri dari tipe kepribadian sanguinis, kholeris dan melankholis dengan koefisien reliabilitas Alpha Cronbach diatas 0,70. Sedangkan untuk tipe kepribadian phlegmatis menghasilkan koefisien reliabiitas sebesar 0, 561. Koefisien reliabilitas turnover intention sebesar 0, 838. Maka kedua alat ukur tersebut dapat dikatakan reliabel. Berdasarkan hasil analisis yang telah dilakukan bahwa tidak terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara tipe kepribadian dengan turnover intention karena p > 0, 05. Hubungan yang terjadi antara tipe kepribadian dengan turnover intention sangat lemah. Sumbangan yang diberikan tipe kepribadian sebesar 8, 37% terhadap turnover intention, sehingga 91, 63 % merupakan faktor penentu lainnya. Dari hasil tersebut, diharapkan PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero), Tbk dapat memperhatikan karakteristik kepribadian karyawan serta faktor-faktor penentu turnover intention lainnya, sehingga dapat memprediksi turnover dan tingkat turnover perusahaan tidak tinggi. This study aims to describe the personality type and turnover intention and the relationship between personality type with turnover intention. The research method used is quantitative research methods to study the correlation technique. Data collection techniques used were the questionnaire. Previous researchers tested 100 respondents to gauge which type of personality that consists of a sanguine personality type, and melankholis kholeris with Cronbach Alpha reliability coefficient above 0.70. As for the Phlegmatic personality types produce reliabiitas coefficient of 0, 561. Turnover intention reliability coefficient of 0, 838. Then both the instruments can be said to be reliable. Based on the analysis that has been done that there is no significant relationship between personality type with turnover intention as p > 0, 05. The relationship between personality type with very weak turnover intention. Donations personality type is 8, 37% of the turnover intention, so that 91, 63% are other determining factors. From these results, it is expected PT. Bank Mandiri (Persero), Tbk may notice personality characteristics of employees as well as the determinants of turnover intention other, so as to predict turnover and its turnover rate is not high.
