Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah e-learning Teori Dasar Musik bagi calon mahasiswa Sekolah Tinggi Musik Bandung (STiMB), yaitu berupa multimedia interaktif dengan materi Teori Dasar Musik mulai dari Staff sampai dengan Major Scales, yang dilengkapi dengan latihan atau quiz dan games. E-learning dirancang dengan menggunakan bahasa Indonesia yang dikemas dalam wadah e-learning yaitu Moodle. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode penelitian dan pengembangan model ADDIE yaitu Analysis (analisis), Design (desain), Development (pengembangan), Implementation (implementasi), Evaluation (evaluasi). Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif meliputi observasi, wawancara tidak terstruktur, dan studi dokumen. Kelayakan produk berdasarkan penilaian ahli materi, ahli media, responden dosen Teori Musik di STiMB, responden dosen STiMB, responden grafhic designer, responden mahasiswa STiMB, dan responden siswa SMKN 12. Penilaian berupa lembar evaluasi yang meliputi empat aspek yaitu aspek materi, aspek pembelajaran, aspek tampilan, dan aspek pemograman. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-learning Teori Dasar Musik layak untuk dijadikan media pembelajaran bagi calon mahasiswa STiMB, karena terbukti mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar. Melalui tahapan yang memiliki tingkat kesulitan berjenjang mahasiswa mampu memahami materi dalam waktu yang singkat. Aims of this research is to generate a Basic Music Theory e-learning for student candidates at Sekolah Tinggi Musik Bandung (STiMB), that is interactive multimedia contain Basic Music Theory start from Staff to Major Scales and be equipped with exercises or quiz and games. The e-learning was using Bahasa Indonesia as escort and designed with moodle (an open source e-learning design software). This e-learning is develoved using ADDIE (Analysis-Design-Development-Implementation-Evaluation) research method. Data collection technique encompasses observation, unstructured interview, and document analysis. Properness of the product build upon rating by content expert, media expert, Basic Music Theory lecturer at STiMB, lecturer at STiMB, graphic designer, STiMB college students, and SMKN 12 students. Rating was built by evaluation sheet (questionnaire) encompasses content aspect, learning aspect, interface aspect, and programming aspect. The result indicate that Basic Music Theory e-learning are proper to be used as learning media for college student candidates at STiMB. It was proved by escalation of learning motivation as the student learn step by step with stage difficulty at brief time.
