Abstract

Model coopeartive learning tipe jigsaw merupakan salah satu bentuk atau tipe pembelajaran yang mendorong siswa aktif dan saling membantu dalam menguasai materi pelajaran untuk mencapai prestasi secara bersama-sama dan tidak individual. Penelitian ini merupakan sebuah penelitian deskriptif kualitatif yang dilakukan di SMA Kartika XIX-1 Bandung. Penelitian ini memiliki rumusan masalah berupa “Bagaimanakah penerapan model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw dalam pembelajaran sejarah di kelas XI IPS SMA Kartika XIX-1 Bandung?”. Sehingga yang menjadi fokus utama pada penelitian ini adalah pelaksanaan pembelajaran yang dilakukan guru. Terdapat empat instrumen penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu human instrument, pedoman hasil observasi, pedoman wawancara, dan pedoman studi dokumentasi. Berdasarkan hal tersebut, teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini yaitu observasi, wawancara, dan studi dokumentasi. Untuk melakukan validasi terhadap data yang telah dikumpulkan, dalam penelitian ini digunakan triangulasi, expert opinion, dan member checks. Hasil dari penelitian ini adalah ditemukannya aktivitas-aktivitas pembelajaran yang membuka peluang adanya peningkatan pada hasil belajar peserta didik, seperti misalnya terdapat peserta didik yang semula kurang aktif di kelas menjadi memiliki perubahan seperti lebih aktif setelah sering berdiskusi dengan teman kelompoknya selama pembelajaran sejarah berlangsung. Selain itu, peneliti juga melihat peserta didik menjadi semakin peduli terhadap kemajuan teman kelompoknya dan tidak hanya memperhatikan perkembangan diri sendiri. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dan pembahasan yang telah diuraikan pada skripsi ini, dapat disusun suatu simpulan bahwa ternyata peserta didik di kelas 11 IPS SMA Kartika XIX-1 Bandung telah menunjukkan aktivitas-aktivitas yang sudah dapat digolongkan ke dalam kriteria poin-poin ketercapaian tujuan dari diterapkannya model cooperative learning tipe jigsaw ini. The jigsaw type cooperative learning model is one form or type of learning that encourages students to be active and help each other in mastering the subject matter to achieve achievement together and not individually. This research is a- descriptive qualitative research conducted at SMA Kartika XIX-1 Bandung. This research has a problem formulation in the form of "How is the application of the jigsaw type cooperative learning model in learning history in class XI IPS SMA Kartika XIX-1 Bandung?". So that the main focus of this research is the implementation of learning by the teacher. There are four research instruments used, namely human instruments, observation guidelines, interview guidelines, and documentation study guidelines. Based on this, the data collection techniques used in this study are observation, interviews, and documentation studies. To validate the data that has been collected, this research used triangulation, expert opinion, and member checks. The result of this research is the discovery of learning activities that open up opportunities for improvement in students' learning outcomes, such as for example there are students who were previously less active in the classroom to have changes such as being more active after often discussing with their group friends during history learning. In addition, researchers also saw that students became increasingly concerned about the progress of their group friends and did not only pay attention to their own development. Based on the results of the research and discussion that has been described in this thesis, a conclusion can be drawn that it turns out that students in class 11 IPS SMA Kartika XIX-1 Bandung have shown activities that can already be classified into the criteria for achieving the objectives of the application of this jigsaw type cooperative learning model.
