Abstract

Perkembangan kemampuan mengenal angka merupakan bagian dari aspek perkembangan kognitif dalam lingkup perkembangan berpikir simbolik, yang sangat penting untuk dikembangkan secara optimal sesuai dengan tahap usia perkembangannya. Perkembangan kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak dapat dilatih dan dirangsang menggunakan media busy book. Media busy book merupakan sebuah buku yang berisikan soal latihan yang dapat mengasah kemampuan kognif anak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh media busy book terhadap kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Kober Bias Al-Badriyah. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian pre eksperimen dengan one group pre-post test design. Instrumen yang digunakan yaitu instrumen tes pengukuran kemampuan mengenal angka dengan jumlah soal sebanyak 12. Subjek penelitian berjumlah 12 anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Kober Bias Al-Badriyah. Penelitian dilaksanakan selama 3 minggu dengan pemberian pelakuan 5 kali dan pretest posttest masing-masing 1 kali. HasIl penelitian menunjukan terdapat pengaruh dari penggunaan media busy book terhadap kemampuan mengenal angka anak. Terdapat peningkatan sebanyak 7% dari hasil persentase Pretest 28% dan Posttest 38%, membuktikan bahwa terdapat peningkatan yang signifikan dari skor pretest dan posttest. Dari hasil uji hipotesis penelitian diperoleh nilai signifikansi (p) = 0,002. Dengan begitu nilai peluang signifikansi (p = 0,002) < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak. Sehingga Ha diterima, artinya terdapat perbedaan rata-rata pretest dan posttest. Dapat disimpulkan, bahwa media busy book dapat memberikan pengaruh terhadap kemampuan mengenal angka pada anak usia 5-6 tahun di PAUD Kober Bias Al Badriyah. Media busy book is a book that contains practice questions that can hone children's cognitive skills. This study aims to determine the influence of busy book media on the ability to recognize numbers in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Kober Bias Al-Badriyah. This type of research is a pre-experimental research with one group pre-post test design. The instrument used is a test instrument measuring the ability to recognize numbers with a number of questions as much as 1, 2. The subjects of the study were 12 children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Kober Bias Al-Badriyah. Researchwas carried out for 3 weeks with 5 times and 1 posttest each time. HasIl research shows that there is an influence of the use of busy book media on the ability to recognize children's numbers. There was an increase of 7% from the percentage results of Pretest 28% and Posttest 38% provingthat there was a significant increase in pretest and posttest scores. From the results of the research hypothesis test, a significance value (p) = 0.002 was obtained. That way the probability value of significance (p = 0.002) < 0.05 then Ho is rejected. So that H a is accepted, meaning that there is a difference in the averageof a pretest and posttest. It can be concluded that busy book media can have an influence on the ability to recognize numbers in children aged 5-6 years at PAUD Kober Bias Al Badriyah.
