Abstract
Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan perilaku vulva hygiene saat menstruasi menggunakan metode simulasi pada anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan sedang. Penelitian ini perlu dilakukan sebab anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan sedang memiliki perilaku vulva hygiene yang belum sesuai. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode eksperimen dengan dengan desain penelitian single subject research (SSR) dengan desain A-B-A’. Pengumpulan data dilaksanakan sebanyak 3 fase dengan 16 sesi. Fase baseline-1 (A-1) sebanyak 3 sesi, fase intervensi (B) sebanyak 10 sesi, dan fase baseline-2 (A-2) sebanyak 3 sesi. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini menggunakan tes unjuk kerja Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa metode simulasi dapat meningkatkan perilaku vulva hygiene saat menstruasi khususnya membersihkan area kelamin pada anak dengan hambatan kecerdasan sedang. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari persentase mean level dari setiap fase. Mean level fase baseline-1 (A-1) sebesar 36,00%, fase intervensi (B) sebesar 71,86%, dan fase baseline-2 (A-2) sebesar 88,44%. Kemudian dapat dilihat dari persentase overlap yang tidak melebihi 90% yang artinya adanya pengaruh intervensi yang baik terhadap target behavior berupa perilaku vulva hygiene saat menstruasi. Hasil persentase overlap sebesar 30%. Dengan demikian, subjek mengalami peningkatan perilaku vulva hygiene saat menstruasi sebesar. 52, 44%. This research aims to improve behavior vulva hygiene during menstruation using simulation method in children with moderate intelligence disabilities. This research needs to be done because children with intellectual disabilities are having behavior vulva hygiene which is not appropriate. The research method used is an experimental method with a single subject research (SSR) design with an A-B-A' design. Data collection was carried out in 3 phases with 16 sessions. The baseline-1 phase (A-1) consisted of 3 sessions, the intervention phase (B) consisted of 10 sessions, and the baseline-2 phase (A-2) consisted of 3 sessions. The data collection technique used in this study was a performance test. The results showed that the simulation method can improve behavior vulva hygiene during menstruation, especially cleaning the genital area in children with moderate intelligence disabilities. This can be seen from the percentage mean level of each phase. Mean level the baseline-1 phase (A-1) was 36.00%, the intervention phase (B) was 71.86%, and the baseline-2 phase (A-2) was 88.44%. Then it can be seen from the percentage of overlap that does not exceed 90%, which means that there is a good intervention effect on the targetbehavior in the form of behaviorvulva hygiene during menstruation. The result of the overlap percentage is 30%. Thus, the subject experienced an increase in behaviorvulva hygiene during menstruation. 52.44%.
