Abstract
Rasa cinta tanah air yang tumbuh akan memperkuat peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan globalisasi dan menjadi dasar pembelajaran geografi sejak dini. Untuk itu, dibutuhkan model pembelajaran yang dapat menunjang peserta didik dalam menumbuhkan sikap cinta tanah air. Sebagai upaya mendukung dan mengetahui karakter sikap cinta tanah air peserta didik dalam menghadapi tantangan global maka diperlukan penelitian “Penerapan Model Pembelajaran Tematik Tipe Connected Untuk Menumbuhkan Sikap Cinta Tanah Air Peserta Didik Pada Mata Pelajaran Geografi Di Ma Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya”. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode analisis deskriptif dengan pendekatan kuantitatif. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik Kelas XI (Sebelas) Madrasah Aliyah Swasta Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah : 1) mengidentifikasi penerapan model pembelajaran tematik tipe connected pada mata pelajaran geografi di MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. 2) Mengidentifikasi karakter sikap cinta tanah air peserta didik dalam pembelajaran geografi di MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. 3) tingkat pemahaman peserta didik mengenai materi geografi dalam pembelajaran tematik tipe connencted untuk menumbuhkan sikap cinta tanah air di MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan instrument validasi oleh ahli media, tes tulis berupa soal pilihan ganda dan angket. Hasil penelitian ini adalah bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran tematik tipe connected dalam pembelajaran geografi dilaksanakan melalui dua tahapan, yaitu tahap penggalian tema dan tahap pengelolaan pembelajaran. Dari penilaian yang telah dilakukan penulis, dapat disimpulkan bahwa penerapan model pembelajaran tematik tipe connected untuk menumbuhkan sikap cinta tanah air pada peserta didik kelas XI IPS 1 di MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya dalam pembelajaran geografi dikategorikan pada kualifikasi “baik” . The growing sense of love for the country will streng then students in facing the challenges of globalization and become the basis for learning geography from an early age. For that, it takes a learning model that can support students in cultivating an attitude of love for the country. As an effort to support and know the character of the love for the country of students in facing global challenges, it is necessary to reseach “Application Of The Thematic Learning Model Type Connected to Grow The Attitude Of Love The Nation Of Students In Geography Learning At at MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya”. The method used in this study is a descriptive analysis method with a quantitative approach. The subject of this research is the XI (eleventh) grade students of MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. The purpose of this research is: 1) identify application of connected type thematic learning models in geography subjects at MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. 2) identify attitude of love for thje country of students in geography learning at MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. 3) identify level of understanding of students about geography materials in connencted type thematic learning to foster the attitude of love for the country in MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya. Data collection techniques using validation instruments by media experts, written tests in the form of multiple choice questions and questionnaires. Result of this study is that the application of the connected type thematic learning model in geography learning is carried out through two stages, namely the theme excavation stage and the learning management stage. From the assessment that the author has made, it can be concluded that application of the connected type thematic learning model to Grow The Attitude Of Love The Nation in class XI IPS 1 learners in MA Baitul Hikmah Tasikmalaya in geography learning is categorized as a "good" qualification
