Abstract
This research is a classroom action research carried out at XI grade of SMA 10 Bandung. It finds out how the use of audio visual aid helps students improve their listening ability and how the students perceive it. After conducting three cycles, the study finds that the audio visual aid improve students’ listening ability by using visualization. Meanwhile, through interview, students view audio visual aid is interesting media and they like to study listening using it. Eventually, this study concludes audio visual aid is helpful to deliver listening material. There are suggestions for the next research. Firstly, audio visual aid can be used to deliver another language skill such as speaking, and writing. Secondly, the research can be conducted in more than three cycles to get more significant result.
